Here's the top ten best things about Kumud's birthday:
1. Her whole family was there to wish her first thing in the morning, awww. 2. The hilarious way Kumari tackles her. ROFL. 3. How Saras tries to wish her over and over again but someone gets in the way. 4. How Guman tries to take her revenge on her through her "gift", but Dugba stops her in time and makes it a real gift.5. The way Saras lights all of the candles on the princess' multi-tiered cake. Yum that looks delicious and so does the guy lighting it.
6. The fact that Laxminandan ordered the cake specially for her even though he couldn't be there to celebrate with them. Awww.
7. The prince dressed up in his red blazer and beige colored shoes, so elegant.
8. The funny poems made up by students in Kumud's school.
9. The beautiful handmade ghagra sewn by Dugba in honor of the princess' birthday.
9.5. The way the prince kept calling from his car wearing a pair of rimless metal sunglasses and black dress shirt, but couldn't say anything when Kumud's sister picked up the phone. I think he didn't want his dad to hear him wishing her.
10. The beautiful way Saras finally wishes her a happy birthday, blanketed by a dark night sky and giving her a bouquet of white flowers in an elegantly lit place away from everyone. Makes me glad he didn't get a chance to wish her before.
It was a private celebration and couldn't have been more beautiful than it was. (Don't you wish your prince would do this?)
