finally caught up with all the updates on this story

very complex. but i didn't find myself sympathising with khushi in this story. i understand her fears but there seems to be a lack of growth in her character. childhood loss led her to distance herself but when does she grow beyond it? she is not open with anyone even about facts let alone feelings. surely by now she should know that arnav is not going away and rather than strengthen his hands she keeps information from him. how does that amount to being a good wife in her book? surely the jethwas have not taught her that keeping information from your hubby is a sign of a good wife?

the mann character is beginning to show signs of weirdness to me. he recognises she has moved on but still pines for her and thinks he is now back in her life? how is that even being a good friend to her let alone partner? and he thinks he is arnav's buddy too? can't blame arnav for his animosity to mann.

the jethwas royal family seem to be pretty inept in terms of security.

I respect your views but as the author MAy I say that you have not understood not one character as etched by me!

Authors Note-1

Long time ... hence this note! Also its been a long time and I am beginning to find people have forgotten the previous occurrences that shaped the characters!

Before I say anything else let me thank all of you for your support and interest in this FF! Without your support it would not have been possible!

And this is just a writer's view to let you know... what I feel when I essay a character... well your view of the same is yours and as respected!...so do please discuss and comment if you feel like! No offence meant and none will be taken too! I hope I am clear about that now!

So a revisit ... especially on these issues:

1. Khushi's character

2. Jethwas and their financial status

3. Arnav's stand point

4. Deepthimaan and his character

1. Khushi is being talked as spineless, selfish unrealistic and recently good friend segad has even said Jethwas didn't give her any proper values.

Well friends! Khushi is what she is not just because of her childhood loss and being lonely! She shared with Deepthimaan remember? And Pramodji and Malathi JijI etc! She is not a dud!

But My question is how many women see another women being molested...

A man brutally murdered infront of her eyes and cut into pieces?

Suffer repeated attacks on life and not only her life but her husband's life?

Get stabbed and save their beloved!

Get repeatedly stalked and followed and infused with a sense of doom!

We are forgetting all this! Plus Arnav married her not for love! Ok fine! He reconciled! But its not a must that she should jump at it especially when she was considered a gold digger!

With due respect to all Arnav fans( I am one too) Just because he is ready she need not be! You cannot rule a heart! But she already loves him and thats why there is a problem! Just mull over it you will find that she suffers by not sharing as she is conservative but holds back coz she knows the enemy better! Yes she and Arnav can win it out together! But one needs to build trust it does not come overnight! She earned Arnav's trust and Pursuit is his earning of her trust! Just think about it as to how callously we rate a woman! She has to always be the one to comply! Even in the story Arnav did not confess and never intends to! But she should! You tell me which world we are in!

2.Jethwas and their status!

Most of you raise questions about how a royal family can be so short of funds! Guys I personally know many such who cannot survive if they do not work for a living! And the Jethwas were in deep financial mess and thats why Khushi got married to Arnav remember?... to save her home SeeshMahal!!!

Guys there are two ways be on the commercial side and be cash rich and be on the right side and live modest for the Jethwas! They chose the later else Khsuhi would have earned millions selling assembly and parliament seats! Even Arnav says that in one of the chapters!

Now Security! In countries like India!!! Can you ever imagine this kind of security? An ex-prime minister of the country was gunned down by her own body guards! Plus this is the country side where everything is bought by money as people are dirt poor!

Jethwas are not cash rich! Arnav is pumping money now and thats why Shashi is at a disadvantage! Plus now security is handled partly by government appointed security council again... infiltration is just easy!Thats what has happened now! How do you think so many attempts on life are happening without the police knowing! I personally went through a course of regulatory administration for which I was made to work with The Criminal Investigation Department and there I found that every single fact is recorded and is known! Both to teh government and the party concerned and since our state structure has loop holes they play around! Believe me... Every single crime is known and tracked and the culprits identity known by someone called aprofilogist... lets not go into that! What I mean is nothing happens without the police knowing it! nothing! Ignorance is maintained to protect Individual privacy and political propriety and gains thats all...

I Am sorry I am upset with the readers writing whatever they feel without even looking t the whole story! I doubt they read it at all! Sometimes and although I welcome criticism I cannot take distorted versions of my character doing rounds!

3. Arnav's stand point!

Now Arnav why is he running around ... he is not realistic etc...

Arnav is an eccentric chap with mountaneous ego! He only buys people off and had never encountered a gutsy lady like Khushi!

He was wrong about her the first time and he came to know the many facets of Khushi as Mirage drew to a close! But he expected like a typical man that she would come running if he simply said lets forget this Ia m repenting( Which he did not) and realised there is more to it!

He started admiring and really liking Khushi but her reservations made him anxious to let her know he wants to take their relationship to the next level! Here everything is against him and his intentions... the setting... the past, the future of Ranpur and elctions but our Arnav being Arnav wants to swim against the tide! He strongly believes if he wins over Khsuhi's trust and love thats it he can win the world with her in tandem! Its a right strategy! But a cliched one as the rest of the factors are not helping him! He is not a thug and can't stoop down to shikhar's level! It takes a certain boiling point for men like Arnav to cgo to devastating lengths and that will happen soon when the forces of evil combimne an push him where he will act out of character to protect his love! Till then as far as me the writer is concerned, khushi is right! He cannot match the cruel and sadistic Chandis who are barbaric! But as they say sometimes The power of the brain can outwit all the others!

4. Deepthimaan!

Oh God most misunderstood character! Your reviews themselves are answers to why Deepu never revealed his love to Khushi! Just imagine!All the people would have been suspecting all the time even if his intentions were right! You want a man to love someone be goody goody! Accept her as she is then if she gets married, that very minute forget her! Are we talking sense? We are being idealistic! Even ASR could not prevent LA from sitting in his lap after the wedding! Why? Coz we are human beings and cant change overnight! equations change! feelings don't!! Yes there are some norms we follow! But to tell you honestly... the heart knows no rules!

Deepthimaan loved Khshi all his life! Grew up with her protected her... still does! He is pining for her! So what? But he is reconciled he cannot have her! Many write he should move on! True! Thats the ideal thing! But Neither Khsuhi nor Arnav nor Maan are those who move on! Then there wouldn't have been a Mirage or Pursuit! they are stead fast people! Could Arnav and Khushi shake hands and say ok we were wrong lets part ways from the sham of our marriage! NO! Coz they have feelings and a chemistry they share! Then why this step brotherly treatment to Maan?

Someone wrote he should be smacked for what? What had he done? He stepped back after standing by till they needed him! Now he cannot love anyone else thats his problem which he shall sort out! But if he interferes one must have a problem! Now Arnav can handle alone some think! No! Only when he thought it was much more dangerous for one single man pitted against many he broke his exile and came to help!Had he wanted he could have taken advantage of Khushi! He never did as he respected her for what she was!

Arnav bought her! Maan won her! but destiny wrote a different story!Wait till you see the entire reason for his silence!

Deepthimaan is a calm balanced and respectable guy who knows his limits and is also sensitive to others's feelings unlike Arnav! With his kind of rapport he could easily have created a rift between the couple but he chose to bring them together for what it is worth! As he realised Khushi did never love him! My point is how can anyone be told not to love someone! Thats absurd! Moving on is different and its voluntary but in Maan's case it won't happen period as he is sold out!

What is weird about him? Helping his friend and keeping his personal issues above his friendship! Are we forgetting that he is like a son to the Jethwas and everything is still discussed with him before any action is taken! Its his lion heartedness that he let the sons- in- law take charge as he would still be an outsider now that he is not married to Khushi!

Please do give some thought before what you deduce! I have not written 60 odd chapters baselessly! Human emotions are complex and often with very specific reasoning!

Last but not the least... My apologies if anyone feels I have spoken out of turn! Its just the characters I spoke about! You views are still welcome!

I am disciplined about updating but I find very few reviews these days! After many days I felt like writing a note thanks to a review! It does not matter its positive or negative! its a blessing that a reader connects and I thank Segad for that...

I wish I get atleast 50% of the hits as reviews! There are so many views but none gives feedback which makes me feel demotivated at times!

i really don't know why people aRE finding khushi selfish..
she is insecure ...not because its about her life...but for arnav n people related to her...
n this is because of the past event she faced...
any1 in her place would react like that..
..
whereas...arnav is trying to convince khushi...

n deepu...he is loves khushi so much that he stopped loving himself...

Wow ... Anu, when I started reading I didn't expect this length and depthof character review ... Excellent detail. I liked reading the review though my perspective about the characters are almost the same as you have explained .

Honestly, I like Mann. It has every shade that u can think of. ESP something that we are trying to look in Arnav but they being unique in their ways sets them apart.
