Half of Mumbai seems on strike since yesterday, many of the shops are shut due to the taxes that the government is levying on citizens and businesses. Recently, even all the restaurants had gone on strike due to the same reason. Common people faced problems due to the strikes and so also the businessmen who shut their shops as a protest as in return they couldn't make any money the day they went on strike. On the same we got in touch with few of the telly celebrities to know their views on whether the strike is the only way to solve such situation and what all inconvenience that they have faced due to these strikes.

Rithvik Dhanjani: Undoubtedly the taxes are being raised enormously on citizen which in return are making daily living even more difficult for everybody. But I don't think that strikes are the only way to solve the issue as strikes in another way are adding burden to a man's living. I think our government should take an initiative keeping public interests and benefits in mind and also show in their actions that if these taxes are being charged then they are in turn being used for the public welfare and not just for filling unnecessary pockets.
