If a show must be on the air to garner awards, then the cast should not be part of any nominations, which was no the case here. Saying Barun is not part of nominations due to lack of votes gives the impression that they are counting public sentiment and secondly, lying through their teeth about it in this instance.
So, really, from what I can tell, IPK was used to garner publicity for this event. And from what I can see, actors are used as pawns in a game to stroke channels egos.
I am really bothered that the head of ITA had the audacity to compare this award to the Emmys. Hasn't he ever watched any of those to realize there is a reason the auditors are introduced??
