Nisha, its okay if you have an opinion on Karan. Not everyone is supposed to like him as a person and there is nothing of that sort encoded in the Indian Constitution.

Every person has a side - good, bad , tricky. Karan is no different and as for what he did on SBS or how he reacts to things , i will not say anything on that.

Karan is , in one word - COMPLICATED. Its better to stick to his amazing acting talent and never delve into him as a person. He shocks himself too by his shades.

I hope you got what am trying to say.

Don't mind the bashing that you might get. Its just an IPL address trying to make you feel miserable and it means nothing.

What you call 'self-centered' and 'over-confidence', I call it having the guts to speak up for what's right! It's easy for us to say all this, but if you try to put yourself in the actor's shoes then you'll realise that whatever he said was completely called for and in all honesty I'm glad he voiced his opinion for what he felt was wrong and completely unfair! I mean what is the point of having awards when they're all going to be fixed, what is the point of asking fans to spend their time voting when their votes aren't even gonna get counted :S

If there is any actor on TV atm who is giving his best shot for each and every scene, who puts his heart and soul into performing every scene with perfection it's KSG and I'm not just saying this because I'm his fan, but it's true even a blind person can tell who deserved that award, yet he still didn't get it thanks to biased voters who just seem to be sucking up to the channels and sponsors, his hurt is obvious and I can completely understand his plight. Not everyone has the guts to speak the truth and most actors take the easy way out by being all diplomatic, only a few are confident enough to be man and speak what's on their mind, no matter what the situation is and I truly respect him for his honesty. We're all human beings at the end of the day and we all get hurt when we really deserve something but still don't get it, so IMO his reaction was completely understandable :)

PS - I don't know anything about the SRK-Kajol comparison so I'll not comment on that.

No ofcourse there is nothing in the indian constitution that you have to like him...but maybe in the IF QB constitution 😆...

Yeah I feel like he is someone I really shouldnt dvelve on as an individual. I will find that I won't necessarily like him. I like those honest, sweet people...they can have their faults like temper, possessiveness but I cant like or respect someone self-absorbed. But ofcourse I can keep someone's talent and someone's personal life separate. Even though I may not like Karan as an individual, I do like his acting. A lot.

Btw, I dont know if complicated is the right word.
I dont mind the bashing...Ihave been on IF long enough to know I will get bashed and I know how to deal with it by now too.

Actually, complicated is the right word and i wish i could tell you why i said it.😆... but whatever, Karan is an amazing actor and i think that does it for fandoms.

Lets get back to Asad's 'Woh actually..." coz loads of it is coming next week.😆

We all have shades and so many. Karan is a kind of heightened version of them. But since his job is to entertain and he does that well, one can put aside his off screen personality and concentrate on Asad. 😆

Now you got me curious as to why complicated.
I was going to use an unflattering word but it would be considered bashing.

Yeah he is an amazing actor and very very good looking might I add. That is enough for me to like him as Asad because I can compartmentalize.
But in his personal life maybe that same fandom has gone to his head. And I absolutely abhor people like that. I loose all respect for actors when things go to their head.
