Yesterday she told us that the height - of the three leading actresses - is a huge issue on the sets. "I am 5' 6" tall, and I'm not allowed to wear heels on the sets of this serial," she says. "But what's really funny is seeing Neha standing on a stool while giving her shot with me!" The story goes that Neha Mehta, aka Mamta, is experiencing the tyranny of the tall on the sets of Mamta. Neha is 5' 1'' tall, so she has all her co-actors towering over her. As a result, she has to use a stool whenever she is shooting a close-up scene with her co-actors who are taller than her, to ensure that the huge difference in height is not seen on screen. Preeti Puri, aka Tanisha, in the serial, is actually 5' 8" tall, so Neha really has a long way to go before she matches up to Preeti's height. Preeti says, "It's a funny problem. I am tallest of all the girls in the show. I am around 5' 8'', while Neha is the shortest of the lot. Most of the times, she has to take the help of a stool to match up to my height." Preeti adds, "There are strict instructions from the production house that we must stick to flat slippers while shooting with Neha. Sometimes, I have shot barefoot too. But at the end of the day, work is work and we all need to be professional in our behaviour. So, I guess I don't mind. The actress in question, Neha Mehta, when contacted said, "I know, I am quite short in comparison to Preeti and others. And sometimes I need to stand on a stool, if the scene requires."

that is true tina.😆😆 in 'kabhi khushi kabhi gham', jaya bachan also used a stool to reach up to amitabh to adjust his tie.😆😆😆
