Ok so I had this in my heart for quite some time now and realised I had to vent it out here on the forum and I am sure just like me all SS fans are hurt as well and would like to say something too.
So I will directly come to the point- Shantanu not being nominated in the fresh face category hurt us all real bad.😭
It hurt us coz he was DESERVING. He is undoubtedly the best male actor on channel v {abandoned corridor,shivam party breakdown,classroom showdown,confession,indiafest store-room scene,asthma revelation,etc etc are some scenes which does take one to be one helluva actor to perform}.He is an amazing dancer, has impressive screen presence, charming persona and most importantly immensely popular. I don't wish to rant about how popular and loved he is by showing fan-pg stats,poll stats,etc etc coz chahey aap uske fans ho ya nahi ho,one can't deny how popular he is by doing just one show.
It is frustrating coz we SwaRon fans NEVER got a chance to show how huge an online fan-following this guy has. Never got a chance to show how many people would have voted for him had he been nominated.
It hurts to see that everything in this entertainment industry is all about an actor being on a big channel and in a big show to get noticed. Unwritten,harsh rules which will always be there unfortunately. Talent will only be recognized,otherwise not.😭
This post is not to belittle all the other actors nominated.This post is just to say that like those Shantanu is also equally deserving,equally hardworking,equally popular if not more.
Entertainment industry- Why are you so unkind and unfair?????? 😡

I completely agree.

Even though amar also deserves to be nominated i feel that he has been nominated because of nach baliye.

And frankly , amar is not exactly a fresh face !

In terms of acting , shantanu is definitely the best and stands out.

Sadly this is how the industry works , the deserving do not always win or get nominated 😔

shantanu nahi peechli bar nominate hua tha nd nahi isss baar!!! but peheli baar ka samajh ata hai that uska character itna built up nahi hua tha but ab toh he is a true rockstar so why the jury members of such an award function didn't recognise our lover boy!!!😡 ye toh haal tab hai jab shantanu ka peeche article aya tha wo bhi tellywood hunks ke saath!!!!!

ek baar uski past performances pe nazhar dalo!!!

1) his breakdown after that sharon shivam scene

2) the confession scene

3)classroom shutdown

4) his breakdown after his breakup!!!

nd many more!!!!

ye wo sare scenes hai jinhe hum kabhi nahi bhul skte bcozzz of the true acting potrayed by tannu!! according to me swayam ka role aur koi bhi potray nahi kar sakta..

swayam ka role ek inspirational role hai but isme char chand humare shantanu nd uski perfection ne lagaya hai!! so i am really vry dissapointed ki why jury members didn't recognise shantanu for his acting!!!

but one more thing jis taraha swayam demanding nahi hai ussi taraha shantanu is also not demanding!! he is just an angel!! jiske liye uske fans ka pyaar and support hi uski best trophy hai!!!😳

and for all swaron fans shantanu best actor tha, hai nd hamesha rahega!! chahe koi usse nominate kare na kare!! nd wese bhi humara pyaar nd support tannu k liye itna hai ki unki voting machine toot jati!!!😛😉

I won't comment on KAS coz the post is not abt whether his nomination is fair or not.
And yes Shantanu's acting stands out and thus him not getting nomination hurts more.😭

Same , it hurt alot when i heard that shantanu was not nominated.

They industry should stop being so biased and partial 😭

Frankly to speak Stantannu also have a right to nominate in ITA awards.He deserves it. He is also the cute and hardworking guy.

I agree with you completely.
Being a die-hard Shantanu Maheshwari fan I was not only hurt but extremely shocked on learning that he has not been nominated.
It's not fair.
He is a brilliant actor and he deserves to be recognised.
I'm very disappointed and hurt.

thank you fr the post..even I had to vent it out...

I got really upset on why Shantanu wasn't nominated..in The golden awards he was nominated so why he couldn't be nominated in these awards? He is a grt actor...seeing his performance stints in D3 anyone can certify him except haters for obv reasons.he has good looks and he is talented and more to it HE IS THE MAIN LEAD. about popularity well the FB pages answers that. he is equally deserving considering the nominations choosen. so for getting nominated one has to be a part of big channels?

This huge INDIAN TELLY AWARDS should be about the shows having worth irrespective of big channels and big shows. but ye industry tho fully biased hai. So why not put the category of small channels and big channels itself.

Really sad...from other channels two two actors are nominated so why not from channel V as well??? or they just blindly ignored Shantanu taking him as not being popular or as a side kick of D3. that's not true

we cannot do anything abt this...this industry itself work like this...there are many others brilliant actors who are getting ignored cozz of this biasedness...nothing much we can do except resenting on it.

As a fan I want the world know him and yes we never really got that chance to show how much he is talented. that's SAD. Shantanu on the other hand is working so hard for D3 and is passionate abt this show touching heights but sadly his hardwork is just getting ignored or may be he doesn't pay interest to his whereabouts and success which sometimes annoys me. but then fan hoon. can only keep expecting gud for him...god bless him
