in response to your questions, i dont think mahen knew anything about the plan....this is what i gather from watching the videos....it seems to be all nikilas plan...she says only shashank knew about the plan and devika. i think either devika or shashank have told shiv....or shiv found out through some means about his life....coz when he was shouting at gauri to get lost he was saying that the whole marriage was a plan....it is written in his kundali...he hasnt mentioned yet that its planned by his mum.....just that it is written in his kundali....so it is possible that he doesnt know that his mum is behind it all.

i know it is quite confusing....coz in the flash back it was shown that nikila was talking to machan and telling him that shiv would marry gauri...machan is shiv best friend....and then when shiv got married to gauri and was in his room thinking...machan acted all surprised??? maybe it him just acting as he had to keep the raaaz a raaz...however nikila mentions that there are only two other ppl that know abt the raaz and they are shashank and devika.

the ipshita and shiv story line im a bit unsure about right now...i think as we all know that will come out in time.....
