3. A wooden husband

4. A lot of drama and Rona dhona in the name of Sanskar and parivar

5. A show where black is black and white is white and every point is drilled home 3 times with loud

drums in the background

We do not like to watch

1. A heroine who gives as good as she gets

2. A hero who is emotional and imperfect

3. A show that doesn't show OTT drama

4. A show which leaves you to think and draw your own conclusions

5. Where romance is unconventional, unpredictable and love is a complex emotion!

So, who cares about TRPs, I don't.

very well said arshi, completely agree with u on that! i am still in shock to see such low trps, i mean how is this even possible..the track that they have been showing since last two weeks, or i must say post gau hatya has been ok, its slowly developing and heading towards building of the actual story, they r focusing on every character and their stories r also developing along with samud's..i do not see any fault with the present track!

i'm not fan of so called tv shows so far...but this 1 is completely different right 4m day 1...not only i'm enjoying...but other than lovestory track there lot more good thng they have showed...aakhir rural areas ke backdrop pe koi lovestory bann rahi...its simply so nice...ohh ya this show is sweet n simple n soulfoul...n i guess some of d people lyk over top drama type serial...or may be only few who critices it.

i agree, audiences like suspense and in this case the story is already known to everyone, and i must say there were few illogical tracks, now the track seems to be ok, u r rt saras shud have fallen in love rt away, but then that wud have deviated from the original track..in spite of the fact that the story is known, proper logical execution of the story can make it interesting, just like mahabharat, ramayam..etc, these r all epic stories still they did so well..i hope the cvz make it a bit more interesting to attract more viewers!
if you read novel after the first letter kumud writes for saras rejection letter he is smitten by her and writes back to her and thus his liking starts from her first reply only in moodern age they could have shown him sending rejection letter but then liking her in first Video con and they start chatting on net for a few days and then he arrives here.

it is something to do with mind set of people as well as the cultural difference.. indian society is a regressive type hence regressive shows gets higher trp, not love related stories.. IPKKND never become no 1 in TRP charts in-spite of being a strong story lines .. where as it was no1 in UK charts..

u have a point there, his coming to ratnagiri was too sudden, they shud have shown some development through media first and then his coming to the village, but i think he came to apologize and not to start a love track, his sudden show up was because he got attracted to kumud and cud not bare to see her in distress, as he is passionate, caring, and confused type of fellow he cud not hold himself to keep staying in dubai..even that i agree cud be justified, but this whole gau hatya track according to me was a bit out of place, lots of things didn't make any sense especially if they r showing the 21st century!

i agree, out of curiosity i started watching high trp shows...
DABH- i could not watch for more than 5 minutes!

QH-i started watching it, except for assad and zoya nothing else made any sense! for example one female, middle aged, has her full hair, just needs some hair drier and gel to fix it, is looking for her wig in the garbage, otherwise she will look bald and ugly! and another middle age female is threatening her that this was her chaal to hide the wig so that she can be humiliated in front of haseena, i guess third female character, and i was like SC is way better than these two top serials i have seen so far!!! i serously could not believe or categorize indian audiences!

seriously! i think u r rt, they like when a woman is dominated and beaten by a man! they refuse to see a show that is soulful and where females r well respected and given equal rights..i think the youth watches all these shows on internet, its the older generation that watches tv, and for them SC is not the rt choice..that is why uk and india is different..its the audience and not the show! and above all as mentioned by arshi in one of her posts, the trp system is outdated and unfair, it does not include all the other media, i think its high time they should restructure this whole trp system!
