I exactly did that. Working with your ex is no less than evil especially when it is someone like Virat. Abducting Rohit's sessions and facing a witch like Tanya is certainly not "the great" with a "t" but it was something I tried before. So it turned out I'd take up Rohit's sessions by hook or by crook. But I didn't have the least idea it will turn out this bad.

The office room was clad up with various working papers, people going berserk with the new project. Even Tanya who is known for resting her ass whole day without working was running around the office like it was her last day on mother earth. I went to my cabin and placed the folders when the phone boomed with a loud sound "Manvi report to the main cabin in ten minutes" was all the voice said and it didn't take me longer to know whose it was!

I reported to the hi-fi cabin and stood there for his goddamn permission to sit down. He glanced at me once and continued on reading his file. He was acting as if the file was his life and if he would let it go he'd probably die. Wow! He didn't even instruct me to sit, was I in for a surprise?

"So Ms.Manvi you're going to be handling Mr.Rohit's sessions for this month's project. And I think I'd need to assign you on something useful", he finally kept the file aside facing me and instructed to sit. My poor legs were crying by now with those four inch high heels which Kiara forcefully made me wear. Relief dawned upon me as I got seated before him.

"Take down the things real quick", he commanded and I took my notepad out and twirled a pen in my hand studying his expressions, however I knew him too well for my own good! "Take up the editing department, check out the new articles and do the necessary, Take up the pile of magazines of Sky vault, life and style, Times and the others and cut down the articles featuring Rohit, read on him, study about his past life and his new going to be ventures, make a list of all of them, upload the information, guide the new attendees to their cabins and let them make a folder on Mr. Rohit, tell Paul to book two plane tickets to NJ and get them arranged, make a note of the party being held by Rohit and study the residency suite arranged for our stay", he ended all in one breath anticipating a messed up me? Well no chance Virat, you should have spent more time with me during our good days so that you could have known me for better! I smiled wickedly saving the recorded data on my Iphone 4.

I may be acting to be listening but the words NJ, residency suite and most important "our stay" defiantly got stuck on my tongue, whose stay? Me and him, NO freaking way! I jumped up in revolt not for the fact that he had been a smart aleck and handed the work that could only be completed in a century but for the reason of the word "our stay".

"Do you think you're freaking sunshine every day? I'd be delighted by your presence? You're so wrong!" I growled.

"Well all I could say now is "GET TO WORK"; he ticked me off like I was a bull.

"Not so soon! You gotta explain me somethings", I held up my head high with confidence.

"There passed your one minute, another 2 hours 59 minutes", he grinned relaxing in his chair. I checked the modernized Italian clock hanging on the wall and had a mini heart attack. There was little time left now! I grabbed my purse and rushed to the door carefully hiding the blank notepad and my useful Iphone 4! "Manvi", he called out as I pushed opened the door to make an exit. He waited for ten seconds taking a good look at my face and then coolly replied, "Close the door"! Ughh, blast him! There he wasted my 20 seconds.

I spun the marble lying on my glass desk with rolling hands and grinning away at my now storming lady love. I exactly knew what her little devilicious mind might have done when I was reciting long list of doings, she thinks she is the smart one here with making her Iphone 4 some useful? Well bad guess Ms. Choudharain as it's your ex and most importantly your boss-nothing escapes his eyes! I dialed a quick number and called the most needed person at the moment. Paul pushed through the door within ten seconds waiting for me to hand him some work.

"Paul book two flight tickets to NJ and train the new attendees to work on their files and the articles to be featured in the weekly", I ordered him with mirth on my face for lessening the work for my lady love. Paul looked a bit bewildered and noticed the mirth on my face.

"Don't you think you're being too hard on her?" he asked arranging the files decently which were spread across the glass table. I chuckled and turned a bit to face him, "Am I"? I asked noticing his expressions.

"Well as long as Manvi doesn't back out from this new project", he sat comfortingly on the front desk and prowled his hands forward on the table with a wink.

"She won't! I know her inside out. She loves challenges as much as she loves me. She'd even climb up the Everest if you throw it as a challenge." I grinned. Paul grinned back with the same expression and headed back to do the necessary work.

I walked up to the end of the room and pulled up the window blind to see Manvi running across the office like a mad bull starting to work. My foolishness might have pulled her apart from me, but it can't take her away from me for a life time- never! I wouldn't rest until I conquer her heart and capture her smile and love for eternity. After all what are second chances in life made for?
