The episode starts with Rajveer proclaiming that he can only taste the food and not actually cook. He points to Simran that when we have expert cooks we need use them for it. Simran points out to Rajveer that If he couldn't cook why speak to her boss, like he knows everything about food. She further adds that she just cannot go back to her boss and tell him that the fact that we know the food is not tasting good but doesn't know how to fix it. Rajveer immediately asks her to calm down and starts thinking. Finally he smiles when he finds a solution.
Haryana
The family is seated for afternoon lunch. Thaji's phone starts buzzing. He announces with happiness that Rajveer is calling. The whole family runs towards Thaji eager to take Rajveer's call. Thaiji immediately tells Rajveer's sister to take the phone to her mum first and then everyone will get their chance to speak with Rajveer. Her mum takes the phone and starts speaking to him. Tells him how much she misses him, queries about his health. Rajveer tells her not to worry and not to spoil her health by worrying about him. Simran asks Rajveer if he has got the recipe. He tells her that he will get it. He immediately makes his second call to Simran's dad. Simran's dad picks up the call and asks him how things are. He lowers his voice and states that so far everything is fine but the situation might change anytime. He further adds that if he doesn't get the recipe then the situation might take a down turn. Simran's dad gives out a hearty laugh and starts narrating the steps to make the dishes. Rajveer starts noting down. SImran gets impatient and rings her dad to whinge again. Her dad's phone come engaged. Simran's dad request Rajveer to hold for a sec and takes Simran's call. She starts with her complain...he stops her midway stating that he is on an important call and asks her to hold the phone. He then takes the first call with Rajveer and completely narrates the recipe. Once he finishes his call with Rajveer he takes up Simran's call. She tells him that she had come to the factory and would return home late.

Rajveer's mom gets a bad dream. She dreams of Rajveer feeding Dal Dhadka to a modern girl. Her husband tries to pacify her. She asks him to bring Rajveer back before he feeds the girl overseas. Her wailing again brings the family to their bedroom. They enquire the reason for her tears and Rajveer's dad tells them that she had a bad dream.
Singapore
Finally the cooking is finished. The head chef congratulates on the color of the dish. Simran tells Rajveer that the color is fine and everyone knows that, but asks him to taste and give the final verdict. Rajveer tells her that he cannot both cook and taste. Simran offers to taste the food and tells him that the food tastes good. But she adds that we need to freeze the food for two days and then check again to see if it retains the same taste. Rajveer tries to have a taste, but drops the food mid way. He places the phone from his pocket and heads towards the wash room to clean his shirt. His phone starts ringing.
The load ringtone catches everyone's attention. Sinram looks towards the washroom and waits for his return. Simran answers the call. Chachiji who is on the other side is shocked to hear the woman's voice. The whole family watches her shocked expression unable to come to a conclusion. She tells Rajveer's mother some English girl has picked up the call and is saying something I cannot understand. The whole family is shocked beyond words. Rajveer's mother's wailing starts again and she faints. The phone is passed to Thaiju. Simran talks to Thaiju stating that Rajveer had gone to the wash room and to call him after sometime. He doesn't reply. She cuts the call.

Rajveer is shocked to hear that Simran had attended the call. he further questions her if his family heard her voice. Simran tells him yes they did but its wired that they reacted very differently. Rajveer faints hearing this. The scene alternates to Rajveer's house where the family member splashes water on Rajveer's mum's face. She again talks about losing her son to a foreign girl.
In Singapore the chef splashes water on Rajveer's face. Simran asks him if he was feeling better. He questions her as to why she answered his phone and further adds by now my Thaiji would have put garland on my photo. Simran is all confused by his reaction.
Rajveer's dad tells everyone that we are misunderstanding the situation. Thaiji requests Rajveer's mum to cry quietly. Rajveer calls again. His mum picks up the call and questions again.
