Arjun closed his eyes and ters escaped from his eyes.

Krishna fell on her knees and cried her heart out.

Arjun sat next to her and hugged her tight taking and giving strength.

It was almost night; sameer and Shree went to them and lifted them from ground. Sameer ordered commandoes to take awy sikander's body and they all started back.

All reached Mumbai and settled in Rathod's house.

They had a long day...anniversary had almost turned to a nightmare for sameer.

But all is well that ends well...

That night no one slept. They all settled in hall... Arjun in his room, staring at the ceiling and Krishna in her room.

Weight was lifted from their heart... they were releaved... the person who had single handedly destroyed their lives was gone for ever. Krishna tried to sleep. She closed her eyes but sleep was not even in a mile radius near her.

Memories plaqued her today. She tossed and turned. Finally she sat on her bed.

In the next room, arjun's state was no better. He tried to sleep, but was unable to. He just stood by the window and gazed out.

Suddenly he felt a pair of arms encircling his waist. He knew who it was. He kept his hand on hers and waited for her to speak.

But she did not speak anything. She kept her cheek on his back and hugged him tight. After sometime, he pulled her to front and hugged her.

"nini nahin aa rahi hai??!!"

She just shook her head in denial.

"aaj tak hum dono jiske liye jite aaye aaj wo wajah khatm ho gayi hai arjun..."

"haan kookie...aaj saalon baad mann halka hua hai" wo sab ab khush honge na wahan?"

"honge Arjun... aakhir humne apna waada jo nibhaya hai...wo dekho"

She pointed few stars in the sky and told

"wo rahe wo log... dekho kaise shine kar rahe hai wo... wo humse khush hai..."

"haan...we did it kookie...humne hamara badla le liya hai..."

He kissed her forehead and hugged her tight.

Down in the hall

All were moved by the events that day. It was too much to handle for anyone.

Sameer was sitting on ground with his back supported by sofa. He had sobbing dia who had rested her head on his shoulder and anvi with her head on his lap. his, pallavi and Shree's wounds were treated by dev.

"ye sab kyun sameer bhaiyya??kyun hua hamare saath? Bhaiyya humse itni badi baat kaise chupa sakte hai????" anvi spoke from where she was in a choked voice.

"ye to pata nahin hai anvi par itna zaroor pata hai mujhe ki riya and dev sab jaante hai iss baare mein.. kyun riya?"

Riya lowered her head unable to meet his piercing gaze.

"tum sab jaanti thi na riya???phir bhi tum chup thi kyun??aur dev! Tum bhi???"

"meri majboori thi sir... Arjun sir ne mujhse kasam li thi aur in return riya ki safety bhi ensure kiya tha unhone... ye baat aapse chupana hum dono ko kina takleef de raha thaw o sirf hum jaante hai..."

"kya hua tha uss din????"

"hum batate hai sam..."

A voice came from across the room. Arjun came out to light holding krishna by her waist.

"hum aaj tumhe batate hai uss din tum logon ke aane se pehle kya hua tha..."

They both settled on sofa and sameer was quiet impatient

"tumhe pata bhi hai ki in sab se hum logon pe ya beet raha tha??? I felt I was incapable in saving my sister. Hal pal dil ko khured raha tha guilt...aur tum log???!!! Kyon???"

"bhai wo..." Krishna started

"don't bhai me ms. Krishna Rathod. Please don't. if you really considered me as your brother then you would not make me feel this vulnerable. Pata hai hum log kaise jee rahe the inn mahino mein?? Shree never smiled with his heart. His smile never reached his eyes. Chotu ne mazaak karna chod diya tha. Shaadi se bhi ek baar mana kiya tha kyun ki he could not see himself in alter without you by his side. Pallavi har pal guilt mein jee rahi thi ki ye sab uske wajah se hua hai. Tears brimmed his eyes. He wiped them hastily and asked pallavi to take dia inside.

"ab bolo kya kehna hai tumhe?? Bolo Arjun..."

he was angry. Very angry. How do you feel when your sister is said to be dead and you believe it and suddenly she turns up alive?? Of course he was happy. But the lie they told was not acceptable.

One look at Krishna and all his anger dissolved. She was clutching Arjun''s arm and sobbing hard.

He immediately stood and gathered her in his arms.

"m..sorry-bhai...please gussa-mat hona...: she again cried hard. Shree was crying too...

Arjun went to him and hugged him. Shree pushed him aside and spoke gritting his teeth

"I know didu ne ye plan nahin kiya hai cos she was in ICU. Sab aap ke kehne pe hua hai. Kyun aap mere didu ko mujhse door rakha kyun???"

"SIRF USKI SAFETY KE LIYE. Haan... uss din mujhe laga ki agar duniya ke liye wo zinda rahegi to wo sikander usse phir se maarne ki koshish karega... main ye nahin chahta tha..."

"kya matlab hai tumhara Arjun???"

"baotho. Batata hun.."

All settled on sofa and Arjun sttod a foot away from them. Shree kept his head on kishu's lap and she lovingly stroked his hair.

Arjun took a deep breath and started narrating what had happened.

"uss din when I neared ICU I saw someone harming her. I rushed inside immediately and pulled him aside. Phir jab chotu aaya to maine uska mask nikala to I saw that b* upadhya there. I had doubts on him. immediately I sent him with chotu. I placed oxygen mask on her face and docs started their tests. Main dar gaya tha. They said anything was possible. I was with her. I did not know what to do... But I had to make sure she was fine. When other docs were busy discussing her condition, I and dev saw her eyeballs move. He told me that she was out of coma and she was breathing normally. Before he could inform others, I stopped him. he made her sleep by injecting drugs.

I asked him to declare her dead. He refused but later agreed to me. He pretended to tast vitals and slowly removed the other machines attached to her. Bp and heart beat counts became zero. Other docs went out to inform you I quickly took him to confidence and sat next to kookie. byThen, I had realized why this attack was. It was solely to kill her. Because she was our life. Because of her, we are back as friends who were separated by him. usse raaste se hataane se waapas hum log bikhar jaate aur uska raasta aasaan hojaata. Isiliye I decided to keep her away by declaring her dead. With help of dev I created a fake emergency organ transplantation and shifted her somewhere else. I was with her all the time sam, Shree... trust me..i did not want to lose her. Agar kisi ko bhi ye pata chal jaata ki wo zinda hai to usse maarne keliye wo waapas kisi na kisi ko bhej deta..."

He wiped his tears.

"mujhe usse kho ke jine ki himmat nahin thi. Tumlogon ke wmumbai waapas aate hi we started her treatment with full force. It took complete 3 months for her to be cured but even then she was weak... uski physiotherapy chalrahi thi... we had somehow managed to do it in secret... phir jab wo poori tarah se theek hogayi to hum dono sik ka trail follow kar rahe the. She was away from me. Every moment I lived in terror... pata nahin kaise ye uske thikanon ke baare mein pata karti... ussi trail ko follow karte hum England pohunch gaye..."

"Shreekant sen iska matlab tumhe sab pata tha..." Shree winced under the piercing gaze of sameer.

"sam please...shree kuch nahin jaanta tha siwaye iske ki Arjun iss country se baahar hai aur with someone... we wanted to alert about sikander's plan...we had to get in touch with Shree...par haan usse mere baare mein kuch nahin pata tha..."

"sacchi dada... nahin pata tha mujhe..."

Sameer sat on sofa and closed his eyes.

"phirr aisi harkat kabhi mat karna kishu... tumhari 'supposed' death ke baare mein sun ke mera kya haal hua tha ye sirf main jaanta hun... and tell me one thing. Wo behuda letter kyat ha... kahin wo Arjun ka kamaal to nahin hai???"

"no sam...arjun ka haath nahin hai usme...isse to school mein bhi ek dhang ka letter likhne nahin aata tha to itna lamba chouda leeter..not possible... that morning I was having weird feelings that I wont be able to meet you...to maine wo likha tha... uss din agar aaplogon ka pyaar na hota to shayad main hamesha ke liye chali..."

"KOOKIE...Dont to dare say it" Arjun screamed and hugged her tight.

"I cant imagine any moment without you now kookie... roshni ko kho kar main kisi tarah to zinda tha, magar ab agar main tumhe kho du to usske doosre pal hi meri bhi jaan chalijayegi...i love you..."

Kookie had tears in her eyes

"I love you too Arjun..." she pulled herself out of his arms and wiped her tears..

"raat bohut ho chuki hai... sab so jao... aur kal mujhe comm. Sir bhi milna hai... and Arjun you better explain him"

"yes madam" Arjun mock saluted her and everyone had a healthy laugh.

It was chotu and bubbly's marriage reception when Arjun officially proposed Krishna and she accepted it. Three months later, they were married in a simple ceremony, with friends and relatives, and their office staff.

Krishna-arjun joined ETF and resumed their posts...

Haalaat ke wajah se juda hue, par phir bhi pyar ne un sab ko ek naye rishtey mein baandha...
