Very well said,Vaishali and Humeshaa, Sunny is quite a friend isn't he, the only one who really knows Saras well, understands him deeply and is wise enough to not make a big deal of it!

A perfect foil for the serious Saras, it was so nice to see the genuine delight with which Saras greeted him, contrast that to his reaction towards LN arrival yesterday or Guman arrival earlier, correct and right but not dil se!

With LN at least Saras displays a love and a longing to be loved in return buried under indifference, but he doesn't like Guman, knows what she really is, but keeps it to himself because of maryada and for the sake of peace at home

Sorry for going off track, from Sunny fan club to Saras and his equation with family, but just rambled on!

Why is Sunny more like Lakshman than Hanuman in my POV

1. Hanuman was a bhakt, and Lakshman was his brother and a sakha to Ram

2. When Ram first saw Seeta, and during the swayamwar, Lakshman was with him

Witness to their "love"

3. He was the one who was with Ram as an able support right from childhood, and through all battles

and wars, even willingly chose to accompany Ram and Seeta during vanwaas

4. An equal, an able soldier, a friend, a brother, he was entrusted with the task of protecting Seeta

When Ram went after the golden deer , and when sadly Seeta had to be sent away

5. Ram opened up his heart to Lakshman and shared everything with him

6. To Lakshman, therefore Ram was an elder brother, respected and revered, but human , to

Hanuman, Ram was always a Bhagwan, to de loved and worshipped, and he placed himself at

Ram's feet

Sunny and Saras relationship is of two friends, who have grown up together and are equals, Saras

opens up to Sunny and Sunny tells him off, when he needs to. Even with Kumud I feel the rishta is of

Dewar Bhabhi, - friendly, easy , that is why Sunny seems to me to be Lakshman and not Hanuman

Sunny very much gave us an essence of Saraswatichandra in a secondary perspective. Really, hats off to the CVs, and of course, our lovely Aniruddh Singh for conveying such a bubbly, yet wise personality. I really get why Saras is so close to Sunny... only someone crazy wouldn't honour a friend as noble as him. 😳
