When Asad was staring at Zoya's face in this episode, I truly felt his pain. His eyes reddened as she tried to flinch away from Tanveer, he stared at Tanveer, but the words never came out.
He couldn't tell Tanveer to stop when his Zoya was adamant on giving him back every one of his memories. But how could he take it back when he meant everything he had silently promised when he slid that ring into her finger.
He tried to stop her, told her that he didn't want it back, because he knew he couldn't bare to have it with him after it had been banished from the fingers of its true owner. Zoya knew very well that giving the ring back would not only hurt her but also hurt Asad, but what other choice did she have?
He was getting married in ten days and he obviously didn't feel the need to confess his feelings for her. Then how could she be sure that he wanted to marry her? He never actually proposed, they were engaged as if on a silent promise that they both knew would break the moment others started to come into the picture.
What hurt the most would have been the thought that Asad's ring was causing her so much pain. Asad always felt that he might hurt the woman that loved him dearly and he would love, and seeing a small part of the pain he could give her was breathtaking. The pain in her features were overwhelming and he stood their helpless, knowing well that Zoya would never let him ease her pain.
He'd hurt her as much and this was just the beginning.
For a moment, Asad actually believed that Dilshad would choose Tanveer over Zoya, but when she took Zoya's name, you could see the relief in his features. You could see the smile in both their eyes as they took in the news and stared at each other.
Their love for each other still remains a mystery to the other, their sad stories still untold to the person they love most.
