I saw you here in the initial days but then I thought you must have stopped watching it 😳

Thats the real problem, he hasn't had a chance to deal with his pain. He was pehle se shy yes but shyness and closing your heart and masking your pain are two different things.
Thats flashback was just a glimpse of he must have gone through with Gumaan. Then there is still Danny (Gumaan's son), who is yet to come into the picture.

Dukhbaa could've saved him then. You are right, he had to witness his mothers death right in front of his eyes. Thats not just baggage, thats a whole freaking cargo!

Gautam! He stole the show, didn't he? True, it was just so naturally done! The man rocked it today! 😳👏

Haha I would never quit watching. Jenny's my fave actress ever so I'll watch anything for her LOL! But I just got busy with uni! :( It's final time and I should technically be studying but I saw your topic and I had to reply! 😳

I agree, he's masked his pain so much that it's going to take time for anyone to get rid of the bad memories he has in his mind and heart. He's tried to be everything his mother wanted him to be, but he just can't open up- only a few lucky people like Sunny/Dukhbaa really know him inside/out. HIs dad's absence in his life is also a factor as to his nature being the way it is.

And UGH, I really don't get what Gumaan is going to get by making him a sanyaasi really. She should be happy if he gets a wife and moves on in life and separates himself from the fam.

Agree. Even I was bashing him for being so on and off. Today I saw a boy who has physically grown but emotionally is hurt and craving of his mother. How could he lead a normal life when he never saw one? He was playing with Kumud...but seeing his mother there...very touching.

Nice post Jammy <3 Honestly I feel sorry for the guy more because of the way GR portrays Saras. Reminds me of the film Masoom , where Jugal Hansraj plays the central character ..You could easily associate the title ''masoom'' with him because he looked so innocent.. Same is the case with Saras.. GR brings out the innate innocence, goodness and pain of the character so well, that you can't help but feel for the character.. The expression of longing for love that he has on his face when he is around Dukhba in stark contrast to his frozen expression when he is infront of Guman tells the story.. having lost his mother right infront of his eyes at such a tender age and then having to spend a loveless childhood with someone like Guman and his negligent father, he still seems to have the heart amd soul of a child craving for love, living in the body of a physically grown man.
