I misunderstood Saras.
I knew that he is a man with baggage but what I couldn't understand is why he wouldn't let someone help him?
Today, I only saw a boy. A boy who lost his mother before he could know her. A boy who had been pushed back into the shell because his father was never there. A boy who had to live with Gumaan.
If Saras would've stayed back in Gujarat, he wouldn't be hurting today.
His wound has been open for far too long.
It's not his fault that he has issues. There was no Kumud nor there was Mai to cheer him up.
Saw his face light up when he asked about his mother to Dukhbaa? He didn't get a chance to grief.
This is not entirely about Kumud. Infact, this was never about her.
It's about his past, his grief, his fears.
Watching Saras break down like that only assures me one thing, the wounds run deeper than they appear.
But no worries. Kumud hai na. She'll help him come out of this wall that he has built around him.
P.S- Jenny has a beautiful smile. <3 I wish they would make Kumud smile more :)
