Sara Khan and Angad Hasija to come back together in next instalment of Punar Vivah?


Sara Khan and Angad Hasija are still fondly remembered as Sadna and Alekh of Bidaai. The duo was last seen together in 'Preet Se Bandhi Yeh Dori... Ram Milaayi Jodi' is all set to come back together.

According to our sources, "Shashi-Sumeet Mittal's show Punar Vivah will soon go off air and casting for the next instalment of the show is already is in full swing. The channel started working on the new story with new leads. The new story will have nothing to do with the current story of the show featuring Gurmeet Choudhary and Kratika Sengar. The channel had approached Sara Khan and Angad Hasija to play the leads. Angad has already given green signal. If all goes well, Sara-Angad will again seen together in a brand new avatars."

We tried to contact Sara and Angad, but they remained unavailable to comment.

The success of the show Punar Vivah as a brand has given rise to a thought wherein the channel feels that many new and fresh stories can be told by keeping the brand value of Punar Vivah in mind.

A reliable source from the industry tells us that Zee TV and the makers of Punar Vivah, Shashi-Sumeet Mittal Productions Pvt. Ltd are working on a new story under the Punar Vivah brand name due to its success, relevance in contemporary times and relatability to viewers. This new show will not be termed as a Season 2, and will have nothing to do with the ongoing story line of Punar Vivah which has Gurmeet Choudhary and Kratika Sengar as leads. The present faces of the show Gurmeet and Kratika will not be part of the new show, is what we have got to hear.

Our source goes on to state that auditions are in full swing for this new project, and the channel is looking to cast few big names as part of the lead cast.

Sources suggest that Bidaai fame jodi Sara Khan and Angad Hasija have auditioned for the same.

We tried calling Producer Sumeet Mittal for a confirmation and sent him text messages, but did not receive any response even after repeated attempts.

The channel source too refused to comment on the above-said news.

unfortunately, we're hearing all kinds of stuff regarding this...the latest from SBB is that Angad is finalized but not Sara...they didn't take her...💔👎🏼

seems they want AAMNA SHARIFF opposite Angad instead...WEIRD...Aamna willl look a lot older than Angad..😒.plus she has a totally diff physique than Sara, she's very voluptuous...she doesn't look like what she did back in the KTH days with Rajeev...I'm so disappointed...🥺..Zee TV used Sangad's name...😵
