Part 18
He tripped over something that was on floor & landed on her. Before she could scream.. she felt him lifelessly sink on her taking in her fragrance, dipping his face closer to her hair.
She took a deep breath ..that had the strong sting of alcohol. It was pitch dark still she knew it was him. She closed her eyes turning her head side ways as he pinned her down with his body. She was helpless to do anything but wiggle under his weight. His long fingers slid along the length of her arm to her fingers lacing into his.
Don't fight me today
plz
she froze hearing his words. She was not sure wat he was upto.
Tum tho samjho he spoke drowning further into her. She just laid numb
main ne uska dil tod diya
I didn't want to hurt her
uski kya galthi thi
meri bhi kya galthi thi
Sam is all I have now. She's all I have left, my only family. Aur main ne uska hi dil thod diya
he hugged her tighter. A lone tear escaped her eyes & fell on his cheek that rested at the crock of her neck opening the doors of past with memories flooding, still seemed unfaded, still as clear as if it were yesterday. The loneliness she could so much relate to. Not understanding why she felt t pain deep within. He slowly raised brushing t tears with his lips.. drinking them to quench his thirst.
Yeh galat hain she managed to whip
why does it feel so dam right he queried in a lifeless tone his trembling lips inches away from hers making her head spin in fear with his obvious next move. There was this silence..a silence that could consume them..destroy them.. there was this impeccable tune of their heart in sync more beautiful than bestest of songs, changing deep within. The feel that lingered & then disappeared like it never existed.
As the tune finished, Geet felt the soft, steady breathing of him. He had fallen asleep, she carefully slipped away from him. She slowly closed the door behind & went into the adjoining room where Sam was still crying. Geet went & sat beside her. Sam instantly hugged her. Her body shook violently, racked with the sobs she had been keeping in. After Sam seemed exhausted from the energy she spent in her quiet but intense sobbing, rational thought came back to her. Wo main.. I am sorry Geet. She said reluctantly pulling away from the hug. Geet didn't say anything. She knew sometimes its better to cry out.
But there was so much in Sam she had to pour it out. She excused herself & went to meet Azaan. She went into his room like all the time. Every time she felt lonely she confided in him. He understood her, her pain & her loneliness. It was the truth he was forced to live with.
He doesn't love me..she broke down his arms crying like a baby
Azaan cupped her face ' shhh... u know he does
Sam ' nahi he doesn't.. he said it
Azaan was shocked
Sam ' he said it
he said it .. he said it.. she went crazy.. Azaan..held her arms & shook her
Azaan ' Sam! Sam!!
Sam looked at him, she had lost all her hope today. The chill of his words seeped through her skin & sliced her heart. He said he never wanted to marry me at the first place.
Azaan ' wo aisen kaisen kah sakta hain. He clenched his fist. He was not happy with Mk's changed attitude towards Sam recently but he never wanted to interfere. He never wanted his feelings for Sam to come between their relation. But this was going all wrong. This way every one was getting hurt.
He couldn't have seen her like this. All he could do was sweep her into a different world. A world that was filled with his love.. with promises to keep. A life together. Both were vulnerable after couple of drinks.

After Sam left Geet cuddled up in the floor. The memories of past, the loneliness, bus wo saat vachno ka hi saat tha unka. She felt sucked into it. He was the hollow void deep in her heart. Sleep was far from her eyes. Her savior Daadi called.. she washed her face & chatted with them on webcam. Little Maanav had grown big. He had so much to talk & yap with her. It filled her heart when he called her ma. Her eyes actually poured all the tears that she was holding back.
Maanav called meera mummy & meera ' Dev taught him to call Geet as bedi ma.. & eventually it became ma for the little boy.
