A random discussion with my Mum today, make me think of an issue that this show portrayed.

She was discussing with me someone she knows who is expecting and has just found out it is a girl. We started discussing the perception that people have on sexes and how women are blamed when it is was not the preferred gender, even though it is the men's sperm that decides the gender, not the female egg.

It reminded me of when Priyanka had and was expecting her boy. (Even though, how did she know or was she just wishing) How she and her family were soecstaticand proud she was able that she was able to give them what Abha and Shelly couldn't.I have to admit that we got so brilliant dialogues from the two ofthem, proving that a girl is just asvaluableas any boy can be. Yourachievementis not depended on gender but on the person's view on them that can cause the hinderance not the actual sex.

Yes when abha and shelly gave girls to the family priyanka and her family for some reason were sure that she is going to have a boy and give a waaris to the family which was strange that how could they be so confident it will turn out a boy then they kept going about how they gave a boy to the family and all that and even twisted pratiba's mind over that.

We did hear some interesting dialogues about how important girls also are and that there should not be a issue over whether it's a boy or girl ! they also mentioned how sometimes girls care about the family more! but is is a fact that in some places people still expect the women to give birth to a boy and a big issue is made over that also i heard that at some places if the baby turned out to be a girl it would have been killed or dumped how sick was that and some families still carry on about how they want a boy.

Sad to see the women always getting blamed if it is a boy they forget about the male part and don't say anything to them! i wish people who think that way could could change their perspectives and realize that girls are equally good and sometimes better then them and they should just wish for a healthy baby instead of worrying about the gender.

Yes this is a very interesting topic indeed 😃 and when the people will get a proper understanding about the sex of the baby is termined by the guy and not the girl 😉 then only they will know and until than they will just blame the girl and only the girl and for me girls are much better then guys because i have seen so many guys after getting married doesn't even bother about their parents and girls even after getting married still takes care of their parents 😃

Thats true karsuh dee i have seen that too some boys who have got married and don't even care about their family that much but girls are always there remember when thakur said only daughters care about their father to abha 😊

some people think girls are burden n bad luck...many places in india parents killed their daughters to think they are bad luck of family..

Yes it is so sad to see this happening they just want sons to take their family forward and think girls will be a burden and useless !

Girls are now equal to boys ! They did explain that in YMGGK and it was well said hope some people realised the importance of girls but some people would never change their views sad to see that happening in india to girls.
