It was the day of Ram and the celebration of his life. So it is only appropriate that on this very occasion, we see the symbol of Ram's support make a cameo and help out his 'devta' Saras. Now it is upto you whether you consider Sunny as Lakshman or Hanuman. Personally, I think he would suit the role of Hanuman to a T. It was Hanuman in the epic story of Ramayan who played a major role in leading Ram to Sita in Lanka. We see a bit of a role reversal here with our Kumud having to go rescue Saras from a self imposed 'Van-vass' lol. But thats precisely why I am loving the upcoming track! And Sunny will be the one to build the bridge that will help both of them take a step towards each other!
"I'm Sunny, Saras ka ek lauta friend, " he extends his hand for a shake and introduces himself as Saras' one and only friend. LOL I was half expecting Kumud to say, "Mein Kumud, Saras ki ek lauti girlfriend." But she stopped at 'mein Kumud.' I guess the rest was implied?
Their first interaction and he was instantly dedicated to the cause! Loved it! To him its "Mission SaMud." On one hand, he oh-so-subtly mentions to Saras the possiblity that he himself might change his "nothing between us" attitude to "something between us." (Sunny, I think it has already happened, we're just waiting on Saras to accept it!) On the other hand, thanks Kumud for making Saras feel at home and stresses to her the importance of forgiving him!
"Agar aap use maaf nahi karti.. to woh yaha to kya, Dubai ja kar bhi chain se nahi reh pata!.. Aap to shayad bhul jati par Saras 100kg ka bohj bana kar zindagi bhar uthata rehta"
This one talk might help Kumud forgive Saras more than the emotional talk her Badi ma gave her.
Kumud: Apko lagta hai ki mein uski madad kar sakti hoon? (really you think I can help him??)
Sunny: Lagta nahi hai, mein shart laga sakta hoon. Sirf aap hi hai jo uski problem door kar sakti hai!
This time Sunny is not left hanging. They shake on it and the deal is sealed!😃
So you see, while he might eventually help Kumud attain her goal, he was always on the side line cheering for both of them!
