What an absolute treat for all AsYa fans today. This episode could have continued for another two hours and I would have asked , 'kya khatam ho gaya?"
Asad Ahmed Khan, the emotionally challenged man has a canny ability to fool people with his body language and his words but as his mother had once said, "wo chaahe kuch bhi kahe, main uski aankhon mein padh loongi."
His eyes are his weakness, or shall I say, his strength. His eyes are the only windows to the real Asad Ahmed Khan. Most people cannot read his eyes because he rarely makes eye contact with people and averts his gaze whenever confronted by an emotionally demanding situation. Little does he realize that there are people in this world, people who really care for him, and love him despite his flaws. These handful of people don't care if he refuses to see them in the eye. Because they know him well and care for him, they have learnt to decipher the hidden truth behind those most expressive but elusive eyes.
DIlshaad: His ammi, who has lived with Asad throughout his life, knows her son like the back of her hand. She can read his eyes better than anyone. No wonder, even through the glass door, when she saw Asad and Zoya talking to each other, she could tell there was something special between them. She has been in seventh heaven since Asad returned with Zoya and an engagement ring in her finger. She has always had a soft corner for Zoya, and she is one of the few people who understands Zoya better than anyone else. She knows, her son is quirky and so is Zoya. But she realizes that these two quirky people belong with each other. Asad can deny all he wants, but ammi has read it in his eyes. She is going to confront him tomorrow, not because she doesn't know the answer, but I think she wants Zoya to hear it from him. Dilshaad has already chosen her daughter in law. Asad doesn't need to validate it.
Zoya: 'Mashallah' is all I can say for our Ms Farooqui today. Asad Ahmed Khan was floored by the visual at the door, when Zoya entered the banquet hall dressed in a Bhopali lehnga and his mother's precious dupatta. His eyes played spoilsport to his rough and tough, don't-care-about-you attitude. They melted like two candles, which had just come alive with the spark called Zoya. Zoya is the spark in his life, and his eyes gave away that little secret, he tries so hard to suppress. Zoya knew how he felt. She knew he was in a trance and for a moment, even she found herself drowning in his gaze. She gathered herself quickly as she recalled his cold attitude after the bathroom incident. Hats off to Surbhi for conveying a myriad of eye expressions in a span of few seconds. Zoya has no doubt about Asad's feelings for her, but like most women in love, wants to hear those three words from her lover. She knows how significant the engagement ring is for Asad. That's why she wants him to admit her feelings for her. Loved her banter, teasing and playfulness with him. Only a woman who is confident about her love would do that. Her eye expressions were to die for. Asad, of course tried his best to distract himself, appear busy and unperturbed, but his eyes would find one reason or another to track her down. Even though he was engaged in a mundane conversation with other men, his ears were glued to her conversations with the other women.
Asad should just stop trying to fool Zoya and himself. The more he tried to deny his feelings, the more playful Zoya became. Her eyes twinkled teasingly as he tried to act unfazed by her presence and beauty.
Zoya has made it clear that she isn't going to give up that easily. She will make sure he confesses his feelings while she keeps her self respect intact.
"Yahan sab meri bahut izzat karte hain." Asad said stoically.
"Tho mere saath sagai karke aapki izzat kam ho jaati hai kya?" Loved that retort from her. Shows this woman is made of steel and one has to win her over and not take her for granted.
Even though Asad has always talked about her lack of tehzeeb and 'badtameez' attitude, her feistiness is one of the things that attracted him to her. I am glad the writers have kept that trait in her character intact.
Their banter over the rose was adorable too. Can't wait to see how it concludes tomorrow. Looks like, his eyes will finally give away his feelings when he comes close to her. Her eyes are also his weakness. He knows that the moment he gazes directly into her eyes, he will lose his resolve to keep a distance from her. He cannot lie when he looks her in the eye. Zoya will hopefully learn to use this weakness to her advantage.

Symbolisms:
1. When Dilshaad shows Tanu the dupatta she had selected for her DIL, Tanu eyes it greedily but doesn't come near it. Even Dilshaad never offers her to try out that dupatta. Big clue- Tanu will never be able to marry Asad even if she wants to.
2. When Dilshaad says, "kismet usey hamare saamne laakar khada kar deti hai." Zoya walks into the room right at that moment.
3. Zoya selects the coveted dupatta herself. Does that mean, Zoya will take the initiative in her nikaah with Asad?
4. In the precap, Dilshaad confronts Asad, "kya tum Zoya se mohabbat karte ho?" I think that question is for Asad to answer to Zoya. Dilshaad has already selected her bahu. She knows the answer.
I am still positive but if Asad says 'NO' tomorrow then Zoya will make sure no one snatches her right from her. Go Zoya go! We are all with you. Between Dilshaad and Zoya, this saas-bahu Jodi rocks!
