Yesterday, a record that remained for thirty years in the history of world of cricket was broken when Pakistan's Mohammad Yousuf scored his 127 runs at Karachi in the last test of the 3 test match series against West Indies!! The record was of getting the most runs in a calender year...It was earlier held by the great West Indian batsman, Vivian Richards who scored 1710 runs in 11 tests played in one year. Mohammad Yousuf broke this record and set a new one of 1788 runs in 11 tests in one calendar year. Not only that, he also broke the record of getting the most 100's in one year....the previous record was of 7 hundreds but Yousuf made 9 centuries this year and got that record to his name, too.👏
Furthermore, Yousuf also levelled the record of the Great Sir Don Bradman of scoring centuries consecutively in 6 tests.Sir Don Bradman had 6 centuries in 6 tests and Yousuf too has 6 centuries in 6 tests...he can still break this record if he scores a century in the first test against South Africa in January.👏
Coming towards the national record, Mohammad Yousuf broke the record of Zaheer Abbas of making the most runs in one series..Zaheer Abbas had made runs in this test series.He also gets a place in the list of pakistani batsmen who had scored centuries in both innings of a test match.👏👏👏

Today, he got the man of the match award, the fastest fifty award and the man of the series award......and for all the records that he had set, he got a prize money of worth 56 lacs and a 1300 cc Honda City car....!!!!!👏👏👏
