Part ten - Finally the most awaited coronation...& the eternal vow..!

Again, all the citizens of Pataliputra had come to view their samrat accepting the supreme rule of Akhand Bharath officially'And, now they were supposed to get their answer about the new regime and administration of the Mauryan Empire'!Not only the citizens, but the kings of princely states were also present' Everything was set ready , Acharya was standing near the throne , Shanshank was busy in supervising the arrangements, chief priests were also ready'All were waiting for the New Emperor Chandragupta Maurya & Empress Dhurdhara Devi to walk the royal carpet'!!

Attendant ' Akhand Bharath ke pratham Samrat , shresht yodha , mahan veer Shri shri Chandragupta Maurya apne samragni Dhurdhara Devi ke sang padhar rahe hai'.!!!

Listening this, the eyes of all the people present there automatically turned towards the direction of the door from where the samrat was supposed to enter'

With all dignity & esteem the couple appeared near the door'They both at once folded their hands in respect to the people present there'And they started to walk on the flower carpet'Everybody were just so mesmerized to see the couple walking together, clad in the royal attire'The samrat was decked in gold mix blue colour dhoti & cream colour Stoll on upper body..again beautiful dress😳he looked highly handsome even with minimum jewels daydream hi rahe gaya😭'where as his dame Dhurdhara was adorned with the same colour combination dress, probably to match with him in every sense..! ohh...good thinking...HVD...😳.she was looking so pretty & elegant wearing those pearl ornaments that the people around were mesmerized to see such an enchanting beauty walking so charmingly with the Samrat'!! On a whole they were seen as an ideal couple'!AGREED😃

They walked up the flight of stairs where the huge throne was there & received blessings from their acharya by touching his feet'The group of priests started chanting mantras for the happiness of the people & success of the samrat'Then they blessed both Chandragupta & Dhurdhara' Now , Acharya looked at the samrat & gave the royal sword'The samrat received it with devotion & held in his right hand'

Acharya ' ab aap dono raaj singhasan par apna sthan grihan kare'

They sat on the golden throne specially designed with the carving of a peacock feather in silver in the middle depicting the symbol of Mauryan dynasty. Now, Acharya took the royal turban in his hands & placed it on the Samrat's head'As soon as this was done there was a shower of flower petals on the newly coronated king & queen'

Acharya ' Rajyabhishek sampanna hua hai' The crowd raised a deafening roar to congratulate their samrat'

Crowd ' Samrat Chandragupta Maurya ki jai ho'!! Samrat Chandragupta Maurya ki jai ho'!!

All the people were delighted in that festive atmosphere, the samrat first looked at the sky & closed his eyes in remembrance of his mother'then he looked at his Acharya who was responsible for his success in life ,then he looked at the person whom he thinks as a binding support'his wife Dhurdhara'! After a moment of silence everyone looked at the new Samrat . Chandu got up from the throne to speak . he was smiling to himself all this time'he never knew that one day he would become the most respected person in the society. Now , he had to address to his citizens'REALLY...none can think so...dream will be realized 1 day...

Chandu ' Magadh ke mahajano'hum ek krantikari aandolan aarambh kiye the asatya aur nirashavadi ke virudh'! Aap sab ki shradha purvak sath ke kaaran aaj hamare vidroh me vijayi hue'yeh aap sab ki grihna dikhata hai , beete samrajya me'! Ab voh sab badlega'kuch samay lagta hai ek ucch shreni ki adhikar lane me'chamatkar toh nahi ho sakta'kintu hum jee jaan se prayas karenge ki aap sabhi ko ek adarsh samrajya de'Dhanyavaad'! clapping👏👏👏

He sat down & looked at Chanakya . this was a big commitment made to the public. However he could not say anything specific as his team was yet to decide about the administration of the new regime. Now , it was chanakya's turn to speak to the public , he got up & spoke.

Chanakya ' jaise hamare samrat ne kaha'iss navya samrajya ko kuch samay lagta hai aap jano tak hridaypurvak pahunche'kintu hum sheeghra karenge'beete yudhh ke parinaam hai aajka maurya'aapke samrat ke 'Guru' hone ke karan main'chani putra chanakya pratigya karta hu ki iss Maurya samrajya ke har ek mode pe Main sath rehke iske bal vardhata karne me sahayta karunga'!

With this the coronation ceremony ended' all the invitees left the place with a great satisfaction about the new regime which was going to start'Acharya had a few minutes talk with the samrat & bid adieu for the day'Shashank also did the same' Now, it was time for the Samrat to enjoy his new married life'which means it was time for the samrat's first night with his lady love'. waah...wish him happy married life

Dhurdhara had already left the place before everyone'she was waiting for the samrat in her harem'

Chandu ( to himself ) ' huh'! He heaved a sigh of relief when he finished all his duties of the day'and he started to move towards his room'after walking a distance he stopped'

Chandu ' oohh'yeh kaise bhool sakta hu'! haaannn'yeh sab karya shashank dekh nai sakta tha..?Samrat ka speech bhi Shanky dega kiya??😆meri Dhurdhara prateeksha kar rahi hogi' and he moved away swiftly' all his talks were heard by someone behind a curtain'but Nobody knew who that person was'!! again suspence😃...Mihika??

Part twelve : Romance, love, emotions & a new beginning...!!

Chandu – oh hoo…toh theek hai…apna hath dijiye Maharani… he held her hand, put another around her waist & lifted her in his arms…Dhurdhara encircled her hands around his neck & looked into his eyes…he also looked in the same way…both smiled at each other…

He took her near the golden couch & placed her gently on it…There was absolute silence for few seconds as both were engrossed in admiring each other.., still locked in the embrace..! Then, Dhurdhara became conscious & lowered her eyes as she felt shy..! Shyness… this was really a new feeling towards chandu , as she never felt shy with him in the past..! She had spent most of the time with him alone in the forest before & in those days without any hesitation she used to hug him but now, may be that she is married to him or the natural change a woman goes through in her phases of life…! Dhurdhara was experiencing all new feelings for her MAN…! She slowly removed her arms off his neck & tried to break the silence between them.

Dhuru – Aap…aise na dekhiye hume Saamra…

Chandu – ssshhh….kaha na..? mujhe aise 'aap' ya 'samrat' kehke mat pukaro dhara…he expressed his disapproval . Dhurdhara sensed it & tried to explain him..

Dhara – ahan…aise hi bulana padta hai ab...Akhand Bharath ke Samrat ko ekvachan ya dwivachan me sambodhit karne ka adhikar kisiko nahi hai…api tu ab vohi Samrat hamare pati dev ban chuke hai…apne pati ko koi bhi stri aise sambhodit nahi karti jaise hum pehle sambhodit karte the…

Dhurdhara was busy in explaining so, she did'nt notice him while speaking…now accidentally she looked at him & lowered her eyes again…because the Samrat seemed to be just lost in adoring her while she was speaking…then , she held his shoulder…

Dhara – sun rahe ho na…hamari baatein..?

Chandu – hun Dhara…tumhari baatein jeevan paryant sunta rahunga… he gave a naughty smile to her & she took off her arms from his shoulder…

Dhara – dekhiye…aap…a..a..p & she could'nt complete her sentence since he wrapped her with his arms & both fell on the bed…Now, both were so close….so close that there was no space even for the air to pass through them…they could feel each others breaths near the lips…gradually they locked them...!

After some seconds they moved a bit apart…looked into each others eyes passionately…Then, Dhurdhara hide her face in her man's broad chest…He embraced her tightly & caressed her hair…He whispered slowly in her ears…

Chandu – Dhara…chahe mein iss Bharatvarsh ke Samrat rahu ya ek anath yuvak rahu ya tumhare pati rahu… mein sadaa tumhare VEER hi rahunga..! aisi koi avashyakata nahi hai ki tum mujhe Samrat kehke pukare…jaise tum pehle sambhodit karti thi, vaise bolne…vohi sunna ichha karta hu tumse…hume aaj se ek navya jeevan aarambh karni hai dhara…sath sath..! mein iss kshan tumse ek vaada karta hu…ki sampoorn jeevan matra tumhare sath bitaunga…tumhare atirikt kisi aur stri ke sang nahi karunga..! aisa aalochan bhi nahi karunga…sadaiv tumhare raksha karne ka swapna dekha tha maine, voh aaj se adhikrith roop se karta hu..hamare iss ghrihast kaal me koi aapatthi nai aane dunga…aaj keh raha hu dhara…mein tumse bohat prem karta hu….bohat prem…!!

The samrat had confessed each & every thought of his about Dhurdhara…he closed his eyes after telling this…Dhurdhara , who was bound in his warm embrace had tears in her eyes at the end of the samrat's words…she looked upto him lovingly…

Dhara – veer…tumhare inn baton ke baad kya kahe kuch samajh nahi aaraha hai…humare nikat shabd nahi hai jinse hum tumhare prashansa kare…hamare prem vyakt kar sake..! mantramugdh kar diya hai tumne hume…bas iss kshan itna keh sakte hai ki hum bhi tumse atyant prem karte hai aur iss jeevan me sadaiv tumhare sath nibhayenge…aaj se hum sampoorn reet se tumhari hona chahte hai veer…! She said this ardently & placed a gentle kiss on his lips…!

All these conversations were heard by some person through a small window outside…after this may be the person could'nt tolerate more or may be due to the security problem…the person went away..!!

While here, in the harem…after listening to his queen, the samrat was overwhelmed to have got Dhurdhara as his life partner. He could not speak further other than returning her the kiss..! At that moment, they both felt like the most fortunate & happiest persons in the world…it seemed like the world was going round & round..! Both had lost the touch with reality & started to float. They were engrossed in enjoying each second of their togetherness…They decided not make their first night an erotic sensual encounter but a romantic & memorable one. They cuddled all night just kissing each other & talking all those which they had never spoken. They did not sleep till the sunrise..!!

NEXT DAY:

This was a brand new morning for the city of Pataliputra. The regime of Samrat Chandragupta Maurya was going to start officially. The sun was shining brightly & all people were engrossed in their daily routine in the capital.

PALACE:

The attendants were busy in decorating the court hall, some of them with the hanging garlands, some of them with the screens, some with carpets etc. Just then Shashank entered there & noticed a flower vase on the floor next to the samrat's throne.

Shanky – arre…itne sare karya ke madhya yeh dekhna bhool gaye kya aap sab..? Kuch hi ghanton me samrat bhi aajayenge..sheeghrata se karo sabhi..! he ordered them but he also joined them to work…just then, he heard a voice…

"samay bohat hai…sheegrata se karya karne ki avashyakatha nahi hai.." shashank turned back listening this & brought a smile on his face.

Shanky – pranaam acharya…aap kab aaye..?

Acharya – tabhi jab tum in sab ko aadesh de rahe the…

Shanky – hun…voh chandu aa jaata toh der ho jati…he said with concern..

Acharya – chinta na karo shashank…samrat abhi tak shayan kaksh se bahar nahi aaye…he affirmed him.

Shanky – ohh…toh phir main jaake….

Acharya – naah…uski avashyakata nahi hai…rehne do unhe vahi…navya var (groom) jo hai…der toh hogi hi na..? jab aana hoga tab aayenge… Shanky was surprised to hear this from his acharya…as he had never spoken so openly with his students. Anyways, he replied with a smile & returned to his work..!!

HAREM :-

Since the newly wedded couple had slep late, they had still not woken up. The rays of the sun hit the screen which was covering the Samrat's couch & this awake him. He slowly tried to open his eyes & found his queen lying on his broad chest. He could see the peacefulness & pureness on her face..he kept admiring her. It was the brightest morning of his life..he slowly encircled his arms around her which made her to wake up. She looked at him & smiled but next moment she noticed that it was late in the morning so she unlocked herself from the samrat's hug & sat.
