~Are you motivated by Actors?~

Hey guys,

Andrew Carnegie had once quoted this about motivation:-

"People who are unable to motivate themselves must follow the popular ones, no matter how impressive their other talents."

So why do you think people are motivated by these popular human beings who just act in a glossy world of fakeness??...Is it their love for them that makes them believe in their beliefs...or is it just a way to get the same opportunity??

Everyone of us here adores or loves some actor...we talk and discuss about them for hours here on IF...but do they motivate us in anyway?...Can someone you have never met in your life lead you towards your best??

Do you relate or follow their motivations in your hardships of life?

I belive it's so much easier to be motivated by actors you love than famous heroes over the decades.I think you find kind of a trust in their ways to success.To just follow their path instead of someone you had never known.

An example for me is-

My favorite telly actor Eijaz Khan

He was then: TV heartthrob Ejaz Khan had a bad accident on the sets of a film, which left his shoulder so frozen that doctors had said that he would never be able to move his right hand. This left the actor unemployed for a long time.

He is now: Ejaz is a successful TV actor.
Ejaz says: "When doctors refused to treat my shoulder further, I refused to give up. I tied a rope to my hand, placed a pulley above and started moving it slowly. I did all this because I am passionate about my work and couldn't even dream of not working. With passion and determination one can get out of any situation.Always do and extra two minutes with what is your limit"

THIS motivated me...there are so many people who have had these experiences...but I know for a fact that I wouldn't have been motivated.Only the actor I loved and known for 2 years would have made me think about such situations.Where poeple have no choices.

Now when I do something,I try to do better then I could.To put in everything that I could and to finish those extra two minutes.

So,what about you guys...has anyone ever been motivated by their favorite stars?

Unfortunetly, I have NOT found any quality in actors or for the matter of fact actress that motivates me. As far as I am concerned they do not make life better with their value systems. There is nothing productive they teach the younger generation. The Indian values are really not represented in the recent movies to say that they bring about cultural enlightnment. I do not see any knowledge imparted in the recent movies. As some one on the forum pointed out, what they do does NOT make any SIGNIFICANT POSITIVE difference in the world we live in. In other words if all the film industry was wiped out tomorrow, not a thing would be missed in the world except for few withdrawls seen in movie addicts. That is not a problem we have enough Psych meds now to treat these addicts going through hallucinations !!!!

It seems you are die hard fan of Eijaz Khan.

In general I don't have good opinins on actors but these days I modified my views.I don't claim myselves to be table fan or AC of any actor.I really admire the phoenix natured Amitabh.He really started his life everytime he fell down.

If you with to talk about motivation, Talk about Helen Keller... The Blind Deaf AND Mute Woman who became a Journalist, Lecturer and a Writer! 👏

Can any "Actor" match her? Her teacher's patience? Helen's struggle... Helen is my role model after my parents... A story of never ending struggle with success........

I love the post Buffie and you are the first one here with an alternate view. However, I will bring your attention to the fact that you are getting inspired by the "PERSON WITHIN" and not the actor. well, although one can argue that the actor is the person within, actor can be a lot of fake. Let us take examples of all the hollywood glitter making occasional trips to Iraq, filmstars like Sanjay Dutt raising money for cancer, while also collecting very suspicious elements of destruction. Do they really care??? or is it a publicity stunt???? How does one judge that? Do you get inspired by the ACTOR Sanjay Dutt collecting money for cancer research .. NO! It is just the man within.
I love the fact that you are inspired by their positive aspects as good humans, so do I. But then we are inspired by all good humans, not just actors.

So does a good human actually inspires you/ is it the actor?

Right,but is there a difference...between just being touched by someone's experiece,learning from it,and being motivated...than being motivated more because you love this person and believe him more??

If yOu Really wanna Learn something from Someone's Experience, So do it From Politicians 😆 😉 .
