Great news.. happy for Vidya and Nandita but no need to diss actresses you don't like. Aish was in Cannes first for Devdas where her outstanding performance mesmerised the French and the very next year she was chosen to be a member of the jury. She was the first Indian actor to be chosen to be among the Cannes jury and then paved way for the other actors. And FYI she wasn't a L'Oreal ambassador back then.

She was on the jury back in 2003. I think they were impressed by her in Devdas and so invited her to do that. Not sure how the jury process works.

But I'm excited to see her and Stephen Speilberg. Hopefully, she wears some nice saris and maybe a gown that fits her curves!!

Its funny how everyone is bashing Ash but she is the one that put Bollywood on the map in Cannes, no matter how bad her outfits were or how much you want to deny. Its because of her all these others are getting chances.
