Well it's obvious that he's going to show love for Purvi's daughter. Because she's his daughter too. He can't neglect the living for the dead. And really I think he could have mourned for his dead daughter with Ovi had she given him the chance.

She was so angry for Pari being Arjun's and Purvi's daughter, it felt like she didn't even properly mourn her daughter. If she could stop hurling accusations at Purvi and Arjun long enough to appear more sad than angry, then her and Arjun could have mourned their daughter.

The thing I agree with though, is that yeah, Arjun has given Ovi reason to distrust him. And that's really sad because he had tried to make things work between them. But what takes forever to build, can be broken from one action.

Even if ArVi do not reunite, I would still much rather see Arjun and Ovi go their separate ways still. For one, Arjun does not love Ovi. He cared for her, but within that time he was never able to fall in love with her. So he would not be happy. Another thing, Ovi is not willing to accept Pari. Whereas Arjun will do anything for his daughter- so to see Ovi mistreating Pari all the time, will be another reason he will be unhappy with their marriage.
