Episode 252 Discussion: 22nd April 2013

Welcome to the Episode discussion thread which we call as Viewer's and Reader's Respite. That's very apt, don't you think ? 😉. And that proves our objective.

Objective behind the thread is

It helps in keeping the forum clean without much litter. People just need to fall in a habit.
We can have it like breathers at first followed by analysis.
It also helps like-minded souls and pals bond and gel together to drop in their thoughts for themselves as breathers and for their friends as a peep into the episode and for others to post their reviews.
And those from different time-zones, who do not get to watch the episode at this time of telecast (Indian 8:30 PM), without any worry to trace or keep track of all their buddy's posts, they can come here, read with leisure and later post their analysis after watching it from their Time zones.

Extremist thoughts and moralizing thoughts are not welcome over this thread. It is entertainment show we are watching. The channel calls their programs as entertainment and we are watching the show. Discussions are welcome in light hearted and in realistic manner. Moral policing is not appreciated. We do not want to feel stifled into that kind of atmosphere here.

There are several other social welfare sites that are there to discuss the genuine issues. If for some reason, it is felt that social concerns have to be addressed and ethical and moral responsibility needs to be exercised for watching entertainment, then; certainly the forum is an open place to create separate ATs and build up that kind of propaganda.

Please heed to this as direct request and conditional requirement to participate in this thread. Strong words such as psychopaths unless used in show, need not be used to instigate riotous atmosphere or start sermonizing.

POINTERS for Writing/Posting of your reviews and thoughts over this EDT

Do not litter the thread with chit-chat conversations. A little is permitted to have the friendly atmosphere, but when you feel like chatting more, it is desired you take your conversation with your buddies to alternate venues like chat clubs, pm mode etc.
Quoting Policy: It is desired that people refrain from single, double, triple and multiple quoting of posts on a repetitive basis. They can pick out the parts that they like to quote as opposed to quoting the entire post. It is often seen that we have to scroll through the pages when all they have done is quoting and more quoting with one line response to the actual post. IF has a rule that more than three times quoting is not allowed. But nowadays as people read IF posts over phone, it is preferred that people do not quote longer posts and just extract the portions of the post that they like to respond to and if they still find it relevant to their thought process then get the entire quoted text.
Regulate the font size. Keep remembering that. It is really not pleasing to see big bolded letters for no special reason.
The thread becomes a mess when you give your review and do not REST for sometime until others have posted. Please understand, respites or reviews; once or twice are good for few pages...don't make a regular chat thread with your reiterating/whining/complaining on the same point. For the online readers, the thread becomes unpleasant read. There is a separate Complaints thread in Main Forum.
When episodic content is emotional, take a deep breath, give a good lengthy review; that acts as your vent in one single post...and make an exit to calm down your nerves if you still are possessed by only what you've seen.

Episode 252 Discussion - EOD summary

CVs to Viewers: Triangle hai Per Villain ke saat Nahin. Yeh Triangle hai Ahankaar, Dil aur R-M(Rishabh aur Madhu) ke beech-Suniye Madhu ki zubaani

Events of the Episode

RK asks Padmini to give Sultan's telephone number. Padmini is silent, then RK grabs Padmini's mobile and calls Sultan. He asks Sultan where is Madhu. RK gets a nice lecture from Sultan that it doesn't become of him to not know of his wife's wherabouts and on top of it call him to find out if she is with him. Sultan also does rubbing salt on RK's wounds by explaining that Madhu is intelligent and straight girl and that if Madhu had been his wife, he would have bestowed all happiness on her. [if Madhu had been his wife - isn't it insinuating and instigating enough to drive RK mad ? Which sane person will ignore this hint of liking] RK leaves.
Sultan calls Padmini on landline. He asks her where is Madhu and if she is doing well. Padmini informs him that Madhu is doing fine and she is staying at her friend's house, that Trishna has showed her Madhu's message.
RK reaches RK mansion frantically, talking to Bittuji to call Police Commissioner and inform him that Madhu is missing, when suddenly he sees a sleeping Madhu on the couch. The table in front is laden with all food. The sleeping Madhu calms him beyond his annoyance and suprise at seeing her sleeping here peacefully when for last so many hours from noon-time, he had been searching for everywhere. The song Hum Tere Bin is being played in BG.
RK comes out of his reverie and throws his mobile near her to wake her up. Madhu wakes up, sees him and immediately she starts prattling all innocently, all in love with RK. She asks him to sit and have food, She tells him what all she cooked...Jali hui Gobee ki sabji, Kheer etc. RK asks her to stop, gives suspicious looks and asks her, where has she been when he's been searching for her all the over the place after she went missing from Studio. He also reminds her that she even forgot her cell phone on the set.
Madhu starts to explain that she left the studio soon after he finished his Hero-Heroine story. She came home to cook for him. She tells him that she realized the gravity of third man Sultan entering their loves and pointing his gun like that. Given the choice, in the event of the Villain shooting him off, she would have brought him back to life like she did once before, and that also unlike him, she would have taken the pistol and shot down the Villain and then ended herself too.
Madhu also tells RK, that she had a change of heart so drastically because through his Filmy story, he has told what she cares about...that his heart instead of lubb-Dubb does Madhu Madhu Madhu...After the revenge, she had tried to hate him so much, but she was unable to and now his confession gives her hope and she will claim him all for herself, he is her twisted man, all hers...that she will also fight him for his complicated heart. Madhu impresses on him that indeed does have a heart which he has to learn to trust, as otherwisem the story or RK, Madhu and RM (Rishabh aur Madhu) will remain incomplete.
Madhu also says that she was indeed broken by his revenge. But now she is happy that RK's baggage of taking revenge on her is finished off and now his heart will have free place to home his love for her. She tells him that sometimes, people end up loving those whom they want to hate and hers and RK's case is like that. Madhu gifts him the musical man and wife present. In all of this Rishabh Kundra is looking at Madhu, as if he doesn't get it what she is saying. Everything looks incredulous to him...her change of antagonistic behaviour to friendly behaviour leaves him all suspicious. Episode ends.

I want to Break Free.

Today I want to dedicate this song to Rishabh Kundra.

In the past, post revenge had come up with two dedications to depict his state of mind. Hmmm!

On 19th Feb, I dedicated "Frozen" by Madonna as Rishabh Kundra seemed to be so frozen in his heart and yet so disturbed with memories of Madju and that turbulence seemed as of its heart is all set to thaw.

On 16th March, I again dedicated another song "Every Breath You Take" by Sting (of Police). This was to depict what he thinks as his heart starts thawing, as he gets possessed by her and in result he becomes the stalker, but infact he is the caged one, he is the shacked one.

And today I dedicate "I want to Break Free." by Freddie Mercury (of Queen). This is to depict how he wants to break free of everything that his heart or mind is doing to him because of the love he feels for Madhu. To make it easy it goes to explain, why someone like him, when he confesses that his heart and blood and everything calls out Madhu Madhu, then why should he say, "Whether I love you Or Not". He is contradicting himself, he is conflicted within himself...and so seeks atleast one stability which is her position vis-a-vis him.

Read the lyrics and you will see its the same he feels. Its all strange and wierd and yet so true...so true that he wants to break free of it, so that he can go to his previous state of his Frozen heart, where he could be the cold strategist if someone questioned his way of thinking. Its only his wish, his struggle and we don't know for sure, if he will successful in breaking free from the pain as his heart vents out in volcanic eruptions spewing all that latent lava of his emotions that shows the man he is.

The Video I posted there is of Freddie Mercury dressed as a woman. And the lyrics speak about his falling in love, feeling the real love. The song is sort of personal rendition of Freddie's story. He was bisexual...and increasingly becoming gay. So in essence the song is also about his inner desires breaking free from all those shackles of his existence by virtue of his body and mind. And those song lyrics are also about something that he feels for his only female love Mary Austin, whom he used to say...You are my common-law wife...or if I was not like this, you would have been my wife anyways...that acceptance...and yet breaking free from her as he needs to be true to his heart's needs as well. The song is so beautiful...the struggle that Love builds in us. Love is Surrender, but how difficult can that Surrender be, if we are conflicted by equally other stronger reasons for our existence. After all Life Must Still Go On...

I would also quote here what "war-is-peace" wrote in previous EDT...which also kind of tells you...those walls need to brought down...and this is just breaking yourself free.

Trishna was the only one who reacted to RK asking Sultan to stay out of his marriage. But it was too fast to figure what how she took that line and the conversation of which she heard only RK's half.

RK wanted to call the Police Commissioner .. Too busy trying to get him on conference call .. And even after he sees Madhu, he doesn't tell Bittooji so, did Bittooji continue on trying to get hold of the commissioner?

This was an episode which has to been seen to understood .. Madhu's expressions as she explains her state before, during and after the revelation of RK's prem game, and RK's reactions to her statements had to be seen to actually comprehend what they are emoting. And honestly, Madhu kept spoke on so many things that I could only catch bits and pieces.

While at first disbelieving, RK soon accepts Madhu's words. And Madhu keeps on speaking in the same tone her eyes doing the talking.. RK looks down when she speaks of her pain after the un-wedding. And looks back up when Madhu says she couldn't hate him despite trying. Madhu promises to help RK believe in, trust and accept his feelings.. Exactly as the promo. She also says, that before Sultan could've shot RK she would have taken the gun and shot Sultan. And if RK had really been shot, she would have brought him back from death as before.

But I noticed that Madhu, didn't mention going to the chawl .. She said she directly came to the mansion to make kheer and RK's favorite gobi and was so eager that she forgot her phone .. I can understand she was too distracted to think of her phone but she lied alright. Why? Did she think RK would get upset with Padmini and Trishna if she said that?

Either way -- the heroine returns to the hero forever.

Padmini is one puzzle apart from Rishbala 👍🏼 she's satisfied that Madhu is hiding in some friend's place to escape from RK ? 😆 for a change, Madhu should impart some parenting lessons to her..

loved loved loved the entire episode...it was Madhu's monologue and RK was only staring at her in disbelief 😲 😆 but his reaction did change from "shaque" to "satisfaction" that yes Madhu is back ..

the song played in the BG is a rage nowdays right? the very first scene where RK comes and Madhu is sleeping was beautiful ! He's not surprised with this turnaround, infact he wanted answers to his questions first..he was worried that she went missing..Madhu cleverly escaped all of it and came to the point..

today, madhu said something like "jab tak hum hamesha ke liye ek nahi ho jaate" something something, that was a very nice dialogue..

it's been 7 hours only so what exactly changed? CV's needed a convincing reason to justify Madhu's decision (as of now) and i think they were successful in their attempt 👍🏼 coz that was one honest confession from RK where he said that his heart started doing Madhu Madhu Madhu ...when he told her that he wanted to break her heart but it had opposite effect on him, he was never happy...

I knew Madhu will come back to RK bec. of their love, which was not fake, which was not a part of the revenge...this is what RK conveyed to her ...i'll have to watch the epi. again to absorb it...for now, Rishbala are back I'd always thought ke i'll dance on the most insane song when it happens bec i'll be sooo sooo happy...past or future are not worrying me, i want to enjoy this moment

Solid parallels to the RK farmhouse confession scene today...similar circumstances...he "disappeared" just before that confession and when Madhu finds him, it leads up to the confession...today Madhu "disappeared" briefly and when she's shown again she's in major confession mode.

Also similar in both scenarios...very good dialogues put in to convince everyone about the genuineness of the feelings involved.

But I'm not buying it...Madhu is upto something...this is the same as the case with RK's confession...it came too soon and too intensely...there is much more to this picture.

What is true ofcourse in both cases is that they might have been speaking their genuine feelings only but they easily turn it around later and say "I acted so well, so convincingly to make you believe"

RK may have managed to put some K in Madhu after all...leveling the playing field.

Either ways, I don't see where the story can go from here...

1) If it's not revenge and all genuinely "angelic" Madhu then they've skipped over a crucial part of the development from the angst to the redemption...what exactly is Madhu supposed to "heal" now that she is all back and willing in his arms? What else is left to "fight for"?

2) If it's revenge, then there is long term scope with the heroine track...but they've shot that down many times too...so I really don't get it.

When Madhu heard RK's sob past she flooded him with her love. Now that she heard RK's twisted reference to the future, again she has resorted to the same medicine, love. In other words, Madhu's cure for RK's pain of the past and fears of the future is love.

RK floods Madhu with his obsession, every time she acts indifferent. While he loves the challenge of her fierce fights, his ego gets a boost from all her love. So would her love only add to the flames of his ego this time or will he be shamed into total submission to the woman who drives him crazy in love, hate and anger? Only time will tell.
