On the contrary, I've always found Madhubala EIEJ to be an extremely religious show. They seem to push it more than other serials. Not that I'm complaining, it's all with a purpose but still...

I'm not implying that the 666 means anything, it's just hilarious that THAT is what happens to be RK's number plate. Quite unfortunate really given his behaviour. I'm sure the people from the sets think of him as the devil anyhow!

My dedication for these two posters.

<<<MAMMA MIA from ABBA>>>

Just one look and I can hear a bell ring
One more look and I forget everything, w-o-o-o-oh

Mamma mia, here I go again
My my, how can I resist you?

Mamma mia, now I really know,
My my, I could never let you go.

(Applicable for both RK and Madhu)

Full lyrics

I've been cheated by you since I don't know when
So I made up my mind, it must come to an end
Look at me now, will I ever learn?
I don't know how but I suddenly lose control
There's a fire within my soul
Just one look and I can hear a bell ring
One more look and I forget everything, w-o-o-o-oh

Mamma mia, here I go again
My my, how can I resist you?
Mamma mia, does it show again?
My my, just how much I've missed you
Yes, I've been brokenhearted
Blue since the day we parted
Why, why did I ever let you go?
Mamma mia, now I really know,
My my, I could never let you go.

I've been angry and sad about things that you do
I can't count all the times that I've told you we're through
And when you go, when you slam the door
I think you know that you won't be away too long
You know that I'm not that strong.

Mamma mia, even if I say
Bye bye, leave me now or never
mamma mia, it's a game we play
Bye bye doesn't mean forever

Mamma mia, here I go again
My my, how can I resist you?
Mamma mia, does it show again?
My my, just how much I've missed you
Yes, I've been brokenhearted
Blue since the day we parted
Why, why did I ever let you go
Mamma mia, now I really know
My my, I could never let you go

Oh wow! His expression, his caress, his longing, her hesitation.. You've captured it amazingly well Zorica. Thank you. You always capture the essence of the scenes

And I am saying that from local Indian population point of view, nothing of that sort, that connotation occurs to their mind. Coz people are so far removed from the occident concepts of devil.

And that much religion in MEIEJ is allowed as the characters are Hindu and Hinduism is very much part of our life with the festival's significances to us...like the western Christmas and Thanks Giving and Holloween stories influence kids as they grow up. There are so many more festivals and we are happy for not having to watch them. And moreover, there is Rishabh Kundra to keep mocking the religious sentiments to not over do it...so kinda neutralizes everything.

BTW, what's up with Delhi? Do the Kundras have a property in Delhi or are they originally from Delhi and RK moved to Mumbai due to his work. The other question that came to my mind was how come Radha just decided to pack her bags and leave when she is clearly married to Kukkuji and if not seek his permission atleast one would expect her to notify her husband before she decides to leave for good.

I'm assuming the Kukku is already in Delhi. All alone. Poor guy. Except he's probably up to no good. I like to think that Radhaji put her foot down and stayed with Rishu rather than go with her horrid hubby.

This is all in my head mind, not part of the narrative..

I agree. I never wanted her to go in the first place but it was just a thought that crossed my mind. I too am so glad that RK convinced her to stay and she gave in to his heartfelt, emotional plea. It actually was good to see that he is a man of words and once he takes a step towards accepting/giving a fair chance to a relationship he sticks to it. He patched up with his mom and ever since he did that there was no looking back for him and this gives me hope that once he comes out of his denial and accepts his relationship and love for Madhu wholeheartedly he would never think twice and would give it all. Likewise, he promised Radha that he would apologize to Madhu for his recent actions and despite Radha not being present at the set he still wanted to go ahead with it setting aside his ego and that is a trait that I see in the long run helping in making the Rishabala relationship work.

Sounds,

You started it all for me. You made me listen to whole bunch of songs since I heard that "Pyaar Hameh kis Mod pe Leaaya". I went on from there listening romantic-Deewane type of songs from Hindi movies...ended up listening to Tere Mere Sapne and Maachis Chandrachur songs, with Aankh Maare Woh Ladka Aankh Maare and Chappa Chappa Charkha Chale ruling the roost...and whole lot of ABBA and now I am listening to Police.

Okay...this song by Sting may apply for our Lose Control RK, that he was/is (minus the word VOW...or may be in his twisted world)

Aside I love the song for the music, video and the way it was played for the Police hubby of Teacher Penelope Ann Miller in the movie "The Gun in Betty Lou's Bag" 😃

"Every Breath You Take"

Every breath you take
Every move you make
Every bond you break
Every step you take
I'll be watching you.

Every single day
Every word you say
Every game you play
Every night you stay
I'll be watching you.

Oh can't you see
You belong to me?
How my poor heart aches with every step you take.

Every move you make
Every vow you break
Every smile you fake
Every claim you stake
I'll be watching you.

Since you've gone I've been lost without a trace.
I dream at night, I can only see your face.
I look around but it's you I can't replace.
I feel so cold, and I long for your embrace.
I keep crying baby, baby please...

Every move you make
Every vow you break
Every smile you fake
Every claim you stake
I'll be watching you.

Every move you make
Every vow you break
Every smile you fake
Every claim you stake
I'll be watching you...

Probably foreshadows something. Also I get the feeling that Sultan and RK are familiar with each other. Maybe they were best mates as children?

Hmmm, maybe. Probably in the same class where RK's antics distracted Sultan who then missed the teacher saying that the Sun is also a star? Just saying...
