Big B, SRK to promote 'Bhaag Milkha Bhaag'

Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra has roped in Amitabh Bachchan and Shah Rukh Khan to promote his upcoming biopic

It looks like Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra is keen to use his connections to promote his upcoming film, a biopic on legendary athlete Milkha Singh. The filmmaker has apparently roped in Amitabh Bachchan and Shah Rukh Khan to shoot a special video as part of the film's marketing strategy.

A source says, "Rakeysh is leaving no stone unturned to create a buzz about his film. Now he has not one but two superstars to promote the biopic. A special video will be made of Big B and SRK talking about sports."

While Shah Rukh has been a hockey and football player during his college days, Bachchan is a very close friend of the director.

Isnt Farhan enough?
If he has a good script and performance in hand he would not need all this .

thats nice... but farhan should have been enough, considering the character he is playing.

ultimately its the movie's content which is imp. not who promotes it.. for it to be a goood movie, than getting good box office collections!

That's nice on their part, but I don't think they are needed truth be told :) He should have more faith in the product and Farhan-Sonam. The film looks decent based on the teaser and with good WOM, it will do well :)

Off topic: A few days back I watched the first promo of this movie. There was one scene where Farhan was showing his back toward the camera & shaking his upper-body. It looked like he has man boobs on his back & he was shaking those with Chikni Chameli tune. 😆
