Yeah, I'm one of the not so active viewers.. Barely have time for IF these days, and only comment on posts rarely.. But after IPK (which was the first Indian show I watched) the world of Hindi soaps has opened up for me, and now I watch a bunch.. I think the PH really knows how to keep romance lovers coming back for more.. I got hooked into QH with the AsYa scenes.. And I think the comedy on this show is better quality writing than they had in the past.. :)

I liked your complete analysis and holds true to my experience aswell. IPKKND was my first soap...and I was quite skeptical about watching QH.

I have no regrets and love QH irrespective of all the similarities with IPKKND. I 110% agree on your analysis EXCEPT for the analysis of the characters... Which I feel is personal and can be left out of the discussion.

QH has a STORY LINE and Brilliant performers like KSG SJ Alka Kaushal , Shalini, Waqar n almost all the cast :) n abt Surbhi She is beautiful :)) KSG proved himself to be versatile by doing this Multi layerd character of Asad Ahmed Khan,which is completely opp to Armaan Mallik :) The character of Asad even though business man has many layers which other two shows leads dint have :)

@italics: You must be kidding me. I'm definitely not being biased, though. He is so talented, full of energy and spirit, and it all shows in his acting. More than the term acting, I would prefer to say that he's very natural and it's extremely difficult to point out flaws.
He's a character that broods, in your terms. But however he is, honestly, he NEVER fails to impress me. Till date, I've not seen an actor being so excellent in portraying such deep emotions, which AAK is full of. When he cries, you feel like crying. He's got that X Factor, FOR SURE. I still don't get on what basis you are calling him a "descent actor".

@red: Not beautiful? Oh my. I really don't know what's wrong in actually praising a woman's looks, when she actually IS BEAUTIFUL. I've seen so many instances where fans go on and on, about actresses who actually aren't very pretty and attractive. But when we wy to the real ones, it's all upside down.
Surbhi has those gorgeous eyes that can mesmerise you in SECONDS. Her features are so beautiful and perfect, IMO. I've seen numerous ones on TV. But iski baat hi kuch aur hai. And definitely, she's a natural beauty, not the types where tonnes of makeup brings out beauty.
She is GORGEOUS, in simple and straight terms.

@bold: Oh no. Firstly, I hope you remember that she's from Punjab. No exposure to big cities, as far as I know. She did all her education in that state, and I'm highly impressed that she can talk English very fluently, probably with slight glitches, which we can definitely ignore. For a girl from Punjab, an accent is ought to be there, especially when you've been growing up and living there for years and years.
I think her English is good, and impressive. I mean, these days you even see that city people struggle to talk. All I know is that, SHE'S GOOD, and doesn't have to work on it now. She really doesn't.

@underline: Nooo, you've got this one wrong darling. Karan and Surbhi already have begun to whirl heads all over. They might have been very formal with eachother, in the early days. But now, I swear to god, their chemistry is pure FANTASTIC. Plus, since both of them are Punjoos, you see a rapport develop pretty easily. Karan is so comfortable with Surbhi and vice versa. Karan had never showed in interviews and probably will never, that he's acting with a complete newbie. Im in fact, proud of Karan that he can make a competely new girl feel so comfortable and happy. Basically, they've gelled so well now, that we get to see better scenes on screen. I'm sure BNHH wouldn't have been so magical, if Karan and Surbhi weren't sharing an offscreen relationship.
They've already won many hearts, and I'm sure they're going to win many many more.


About your comparison to IPK, I highly disagree. Okay, maybe the lovers har the same sorta scenes, personalities, etc etc, but the storylines differ like HELL.
Khushi and Arnav's love story isn't similar to that of Zoya's and Asad.

In QH, both Zoya and Asad are smart, well off, and educated.
But in IPK, it was differences galore b/w Arnav and Khushi. COMPLETELY different backgrounds.

Though ArShi did have a sizzling chemistry, the storyline definitely contributed to the weakening of that show.

Touch wood, QH's storyline is pretty good as of now, and I have hope that it'll be so in the future as well.

Too many points to disagree to. I really don't know why people don't see the best in the best nd the worst in the worst. When people are actually good, please appreciate. And none of us here are biased. We know the FACTS. Or else, most of us wouldn't have been here AT ALL.
