Guys, if Asad does not marry Zoya, she cannot stay in the country and she will get deported. So why is everyone thinking that he will end up with Tanveer? I really don't see this show as an EK drama where people exchange marital partners. There is some depth to this show - to me it is about a couple coming to terms with their past; how they learn that they have more in common than they realize.
The strength of this story to me is how does a woman come to terms with the discovering her father who turns out to be a man whom her husband or husband-to-be-hates and has ruined the lives of her "family." Whom does she embrace and how does she connect them together - after all, was that not what we all saw in the first promo? Zoya has the connection?
I also hope we explore the conflict that Asad experiences - does he welcome Siddiqui into their lives because he is the father of the woman he loves. Then we have the other key - the dead woman whom Rashid apparently murdered.
I believe we have a lot more to see in terms of how people come to terms with so many ugly events in the past. As one person noted, we also have to bear in mind that we have a title called "Qubool Hai' and it is about accepting people and working with them through their emotional baggage which both Zoya and Asad have and looking at how a couple can overcome it and build a relationship in the process.
For me this is a mature concept and one that carries it some emotional depth.
