Saat Phere's effect on the Common person

hi everyone,

i wanted to put out a question for everyone.

what do you think abt the role these negative characters have on the "common" person in india?

we tell kids not to watch tv with violence but do you think we should have a warning for those who are not fully matured enough to watch the show.

because of the recent actions of kaveri in her in-laws has gone to the extreme level and jiji's plot made me think how these characters would influence one in real life to act this way.

Do u think Kids watch this soaps...They have better channels like Disney and nick to watch ....and if we start looking in this angle then their will be no seriel to be aired except like Johnny ala re...kind of theme.
If u have read Set-raj post u will know how we all feel about soaps like this ...but why be -ve ,think + ,take +ve things from it.
No one will be so stupid as that family as not to know Kaveris intention or be so kind enough to forgive big mistakes like that in Real life.

yes kids do watch thises ahows that is why we have so many teenagers here. Once they start watching they get addicted just like we do. My son loves Saat phere we talk about it all the times. I wish we had serials around when we we groqing up. Then I would have learned to deal with kaveri kinds. saat phere is not the worst serial. look at Ekta's serial. Also today's kids are smarter they distinguish between reality and fiction.

Very true ramas...We should be realist and learn from it rather than follow it blindly...Remember its not the true world is like.

Ramas..how old is ur son.My daughter is 6 and occasionaly shouts out Bani/saloni when she seems them.Thankfully her attention span for these serials is quite small and hence I dont have to answer her "doubts".She is a question bank !!

Yes I have gone thru that Intially. My son is 18 now. But he started watching when he was 12-13. he had gotten so addicted that his grades gotten affected and I had to cancel for a while. He even stop watching all cartoons and other shows. He did not even want to go to college out of town to miss the shows. But he watches all the shows whenever he gets chance and ask me whenever he comes home as to what is happening.

Thank god he does not like watching shows on computer. otherwise he will be watching all this in his dorm rather than studying.

I don't want that my kids watch these type of serials I don't like these low level acts........... by keveri, Jiji.....I will take them to playground or some other activities......... when they are 15 or 18 then depends upon them if they want to watch or not but till 15 I will make decisions.............

When we watch these shows kids get curious. also with subtittles they read and understand what is happening, that is why zee shows are more popular among teens who do not understand hindi.
