Soap Queen Ekta Kapoor's all time favourite Hiten Tejwani is at his toes these days! Reason? No nomination for the leading man of India's No.1 soap Kyunki... in either ITA or HHITA. To add more to it, Ekta hoggered all the limelight towards her latest Uncle-beti jodi offerring (Does anyone remember them as Jai and Bani?). To this kind of behaviour, Hiten reacts, "Two years back, I got the Best Actor Award for Kyunki..., last year for the same role I got the Best Supporting Actor Award and this year I've descended so low to have not won a nomination even. Fantastic!"

In the flow of their frustration and the win of undeserving ones, Balajians spoke up. Where Hiten reacted exactly opposite to his simple image, Pawan Shankar plainly states, "I'm no one to judge anyone's caliber when it comes to acting. I'm still learning! But I could see the stage politics and injustice this year. My show Siddhant which has won a nomination at International Television Awards, received just one honour combined in both the award functions. I could feel the absence of some respectable actors at the show due to such inconsiderations. " Hiten added, "Something wrong is going on. I'm not able to understand what but I could see no point in Ram Kapoor winning Best Actor Award when actors like Rajeev and Pawan with brilliant performances were nominated. I'm happy for my team member Pulkit who won but others deserved their due too. I'm completely blank!"

Aamna Shariff who walked away with two awards at ITA seemed very happy, "I cannot comment on how fair the awards were but still I must say that many incompetent winners walked away with prestigious awards, at least critics should have been considerate about good shows like Siddhant and Left Right Left." And at last, the very beautiful Gauri Pradhan finishes this way, "I have nothing to do with awards from now but it was really disheartening to see Ram & Prachi walk away with Best Jodi awards despite of imfallible jodis like Rohit-Sangeeta, Rajeev-Shweta and Shakti-Kanchi on air!!!"

no they are right this time they have neglected other actors , i think best jodi this year was kumkum and sumeet . they are not aginst ram kapoor or anybody it is just in ita bani and jai got 4 awards combine, and without any resaon. if they were to given best jodi then someone else should have gotten best actor and best actoress .and in those catatogries hiten, hussain, rajeev and sakshi deserved it. i can't even believe that if people vote in ita and hhita then they voted ram kappor and prachi more than anybody else . 😕

sorry to ask here but can anyone tell me when are they gonna show the awards(ITA ones) in canada. all i know is that they r gonna air on sony or zee.

i agree with hiten.......i mean personally i feel ram is very good but not the best.........and i definitely disagree with the best jodi one too because jai walia looks too old for bani.......this is not a statement of jealousy.....i think hiten had a point in what he said.........i dont think hes trying to sya that ram isnt a good actor.........well i hope next yrs awards are not disappointing..........naina

Hey I thought Hiten won award for the best supporting actor in ITA this yr too.But what Hiten or pawan or gauri are saying is absolutely true.Even in Saas bahu aur saazish they were saying that this yr in both the award functions,most awards went to prachi and ram kapoor and to their serial Kasam se which was quite fishy bcoz there were other people too who were also deserving in some categories.Most people were denied this yr which was really unfair.and plz Hiten doesnt need to be jealous or something .Ha ha ,he's far away from being insecure or jealous.He's passed that stage long back.Its just that he's taking a stand for something this time and speaking something righteously and honestly that people r thinking he 's become jealous and rude.
