Kamal reminds Trishna that the Agarwal Mansion belongs to Suyash Mehra. Rajeshwari agrees to auction the house so Trishna can buy it. The auction begins and Shruti seems to be winning the bid when Narayani walks in and overbids her.
And now Kahaani as of 29th November
Everyone wonders who Narayani Devi is and even as she takes her seat down she talks to Parvati who is constantly on the phone with her and tells her that very soon her house will be hers again. Shruti overbids Narayani again and calls out 10 million but Narayani overbids her to an 11 million. Shruti is angered by this and tells Sameer that she will not loose her house at any cost and so she bids 12 million but Narayani bids 13 million and Parvati is listening all the time. Rajeshwari tells Shruti not to go any further because it's not worth it but Shruti bids 14 million and Narayani surprises everyone further by bidding 15 million. Shruti wants to make a scene but Rajeshwari reprimands her. Narayani makes her final bid at 16 million and the auction closes with the victory going to Narayani and Parvati. The auctioneers announce that the house that the Agarwals have lived years in have just been taken away from them and is now is the property of Janki Associates. Narayani walks out with her head held high and Parvati hangs up with the feeling of victory glowing through her.
At the Agarwal Mansion all hell breaks loose with everyone trying to figure out what went wrong. They all point the finger at Rajeshwari and she tells them all to calm down saying that they will think of something soon enough and she also tells them she does not have the answers to any of their questions. When the rest of the family leaves, Shruti stays back to tell Rajeshwari that she knows something is really not right and blames the loss of the mansion on her. Rajeshwari says that she really doesn't know anything about what happened at the auction and tells Shruti to prepare herself to answer Trishna because she gave this responsibility to her before she left. Rajeshwari walks out leaving Shruti in a state of turmoil.
Outside the mansion Rajeshwari tells herself that even though she asked all the Agarwals to calm down she is unable to do the same. She wonders who Narayani Devi is and gets into her car to take off but unknown to her there is a packet in the car that looks extremely suspicious. And while Rajeshwari heads home with her mystery packet, Narayani pays a man off for a job well done in placing the packet in Rajeshwari's car. Parvati wants to know about the packet and Narayani tells her that in the time of war it's important to send your enemy into a state of confusion even before they have time to get over the previous one.
Back at the mansion Shruti and Sameer think of all sorts of ways to get to the bottom of things and Shruti tries to call Trishna to tell her about what happened and Sameer stops her. Instead he calls the office and asks an employee to find out everything he can about Janki Associates and its owner. Shruti then remembers that years ago Parvati invested a few millions in a trust, which through the years would now be a huge amount. She says that she will try calling the woman who Parvati handed the money to. Meanwhile at the Mehra residence, Rajeshwari is visited by some customs officers who say they have information of her receiving a large sum of dollars without their knowledge. She denies this allegation and the custom officers check her bag where they find the packet with the money. Rajeshwari is shocked and says that this doesn't belong to her but they are confused as to what a packet with her name is doing in her house that she doesn't know about. They take her into custody and she has no choice but to leave with them.
Later, Pragati visits Janki to thank her for the admission. Janki tells her that she is very lucky to have a friend like Metilli and Pragati says that she will never forget her because she's her best friend. Janki asks what Metilli does and Pragati says that she is looking for a job. Janki says that she wants to give Metilli a job and tells Pragati to ask Metilli to come and meet her. Pragati thanks her and rushes off. She then informs Metilli about what happened and asks if Metilli is actually going to give her all of her earnings. Metilli tells Pragati not to think about it because she likes to work and Pragati likes to study so they both win.
Back at the mansion Shruti tells Sameer that she spoke to the woman who holds the trust and she has refused them the money because she will only return it to Parvati. Sameer realizes they're stuck and says that now they have to meet with Narayani Devi. So the two head over to her house and ask her why she was so keen on buying the house. She says that if they wanted it so much they should have bid higher but Shruti says that they would have suffered a great loss. Sameer asks Narayani to buy any of their other properties but not the house and Narayani tells him that she can't make a decision on that because the house belongs to her daughter Janki who is out of the city at the moment. Sameer asks when she will be back and Narayani says that she doesn't know. All the while, Parvati is listening to the entire conversation and smiles silently.
That night the long awaited Suyash Mehra returns to Mumbai to get Rajeshwari out of the mess she's in. He is informed of her charges and he tells her that if it was up to him he would just leave her to rot there but unfortunately she's his wife and he has to get her out for his better name. The officer tells Suyash that Rajeshwari still hasn't told them about the packet and therefore they will have to retain it. During this time Rajeshwari can do nothing but wonder who landed the packet in her car and why.
At the same time, Narayani hands Parvati an invitation and she asks what this is. Narayani tells her that this is the party to which everyone will be invited and where everyone will see Janki. She says that the Agarwals have already lost the roof above their heads and when they see Janki they will loose the ground beneath their feet as well. Parvati smiles as she feels the waves of a heated battle coming up and Narayani tells her to get ready because the party is tomorrow and there will be no more hide and seek, no more cat and mouse games because everyone will see Janki, meaning everyone will see Parvati and know she is back.
