Court cancelling Onir's medical license is a blunder. Here neither of the parties involved in the issue have moved the court nor given their statement but still court gave the verdict based on a single evidence. But In reality, court directs the respective state council of MCI to look into the issue; council calls for enquiry and hears the doctor's statement and other party in person, takes into account gravity of the crime, past history etc, based on which disciplinary action is taken; suspending the license for a certain period varying from couple of months to years is done by MCI but permanent cancellation is extremely rare in India and court calling for it without consulting MCI...!!

When did PR ever have common sense, in the first place.
Talk about logic.

actually for such a small crime there is no need to cancel a doc's licence more over when both the parties were not having any problem in it. i meant the won who gave the baby and one who got..
and moreover in India many docs who do more horrible mistakes than this are free and for this small mistake they showed to cancel his license that too for a man who is world famous..
lol PR and logic are always like poles which never meet..
i think the whole PR team has no knowledge and idea about values, ethics, feelings, love, babies, parents, relations and not medical terms and not even judiciary..
they need to check out before they show anything and it is worst to expect from PR as it is a BT show and is never near to reality..

Exactly here neither arjun-ovi or purvi filed the case, in real Onir would have passed out with mere warning or barring the license for couple of months

Just see what Purvi has brought Onir down to. She is really the most idiotic woman I've ever seen.

Dear Nandini,

Thanks for sharing all this detailed and interesting info with us.

As for the court proceedings, they were par for the course in a Balaji serial. If you remember the chawl demolition case in PR part 1, or the case against the heroine in Ekta's BALH, today's goings on would come as no surprise. I dare say the PR CVs are not even aware that the MCI exists. I have written repeatedly that Mittal has no locus stand to file a case against Onir, as only those affected, in this case Ovi and/or Arjun, can do it, but I knew that it would turn out to be exactly like this.

Plus, when any case in India takes years to be settled this one was cleared in a day?

Those in this forum who had their knives out for Onir and wanted him to go to jail must be a tad disappointed, though for him this ban must be almost like dying, and far worse than a prison sentence.

Dear Namita,

It is so good to touch base with you again.

Not just idiotic, my dear.
She has now finally completely destroyed the man who was, because of his simple goodness, the only bright spot for me in PR these days. To be cut off from his work would be, for Onir, much, much worse than a prison sentence. He is ruined for life, and while his folly in blindly indulging her cannot be denied, it is she who is solely responsible for what has happened to him, weeping and clinging to his hands and pleading tearfully till the poor sap caved in, and put paid to a highly respected and selfless career.

Today, though Purvi is no wilting lily and perfectly capable of taking on anyone any time, she did nothing but weep all ove r the nearest available sympathiser, the ever ready Arjun. Why not hug her husband and try to comfort him? It looke dvery strange, and not just to Manav

More to the point , why did she not stand up in court, demand that Sachin put her on as a witness, and take all the blame for what was solely her doing? It might even have made a difference to the sentence, for after all, it is for that that the defence wants Arjun to testify. But no, she does not say a word to help the man who has always stood by her like a rock, and lets him go down the tube without lifting a finge r to support him. She was beneath contempt today, but then I knew that is what she would do, and she did not disappoint me .

i also didnt understood that thing...i mean first the assistant calls arjun for giving a statement but without the statement taken court decides to cancel onir's license...i mean this is utter crap and this show has now crossed all the limits of showing something logic in it...and now if in future the show will start showing its logic na then now we wouldnt understand it as there is one story boy is calling people from villages saying lion arrived but in actual lion didnt arrived but when lion actually arrived people didnt gave in and the boy had no option...pr i also becoming like that only...day by day...no logic shown and now viewers are losing all the hopes...so trust me when this show will start showing logic in it there will be no viewers interested in it...
