well the way he cares for her, seems like he does love her. basically he doesnt know wat love is. i feel he thinks that wat he feels for the one in portrait is 'love', but he doesnt know what he feels for gauri is love in true sense. hence, he is confused about his feelings for gauri, like he said "i dunno wat i feel for her" which shud have been put this way, "i dunno if wat i feel for her is called love"
