Devki bani Mukti, ya Mukti bani Devki?

A decent eppy, after a long time - not the best, but decent. Watch out for the highlight of today's eppy - Bajaj has cut his hair! Or has he pulled it out in frustration?

Prerna and Rishabh Bajaj's anniversary party

Is it me or is it that everytime these two have a fight, their anniversary comes around?

Anyway, so its Papa Bajaj and Mama Bajaj's anniversary, and Bajaj Bacha-log are super-excited.

Omi makes some speech which I missed - but he invites PRB onto the dancefloor. They dance to "Main na bhooloonga, main na bhooloongi", while flashbacks are shown for the audience's benefit After a long time, I can see the old PRB chemistry making its way back, and I swear its all to do with hair - Prerna has hers open, and Bajju has cut his There's a short dream sequence where Rish-Pre are alone on the dancefloor, happy and in love and Rishu lifts her up in his arms....very cool!

Clapping starts, and both come back to life. Rishu leaves the dancefloor in one direction, Prerna in the other...

Sneha brings Devki over to dance with Tushar, Devki is reluctant, always looking back at Prem...hmmm wonder why?

Prem in his habitual Devdas pose (minus the drink) gets a series of flashbacks of PM dancing and he begins to shake...with anger, with something else, I dunno. But so what, you are wondering? Flashbacks are par for the course with him. Well, you are right, but this time, something happens.....something....................................... .......................what?................................ .......he blinks (haven't seen him do that in a while!), his fingers move, and......................................................... ...................................................

Everyone is really happy and shocked to see Prem slowly walk towards Devki, not least the girl herself. But, just as he reaches her, the inevitable happens and he

OK, so I was initially pissed off that Prem fell YET AGAIN, but seriously this is GREAT - he MOVED of his own accord and is slowly getting better. Today's PM NON-scene was a HELLUVA lot better than yesterday's bandar-fest....



In the hospital, Prerna is crying on Anaita's muscular shoulder Yaar, yeh Anaita Madam har jaga poonch jaati hai? Do these people know the FIRST thing about her? She knows their entire life history, and we don't even know the first thing about her...somethin's up....

Prerna says something about being betrayed all her life by everyone...I missed it - I could care less about Prerna Mai and her sobfest...she brings it on herself....

Anaita says that bhagwan listens to everyone. Madam, in case you got the memo a little late, here, God is not the sutradhaar, Ekta is - so you better pray to her to make everything right

Bajaj hears all this crap, gets angry and leaves.

The docs come out and say that Prem is fine. And they also say that he is nearly cured Dudes, please explain something to me - how do you know that? I mean, is there like a guidebook on when to know that someone is getting better? All the guy has done so far is stare, grab people's hands, faint and now walk half a dozen steps - on what basis are you saying that he is cured? What is the scientific term?

Prem is shifted into a ward as D looks on...



Bajju is driving in the dark, remembering Prerna's hurtful words. Suddenly, he stops the car and seemingly comes to a decision



OK, why the hell is the whole bharaat in the doc's room? Aside from Prerna and Sneha and possibly Mahesh, whats the need for Omi and Vampanaita to be present? Bloody chipkoos The woman will trust absolute strangers but won't believe that her husband truly loves her and her son and is trying to make amends....

Doc says that they have noticed a 90% improvement in Prem - he fainted because he remembered his past. He then says that Dr. Palak ASTUTELY noticed that when Prem fainted, Devki was in front of him - in fact, says Doc, he was walking towards D at the time.

THAT'S what the docs noticed after doing their tests????? OH DEAR GOD - you people didn't need to go through 7 years of Med School for that - you could have asked me to tell you The entire freakin' room saw Prem walk up to Devki and faint in front of her - nice going Sherlock!

The docs tell Prerna that they time is come - to relive Mukti's death Dr. Palak says that this is a kind of shock treatment - My God, woman, what is your deal with shock therapy?

Prerna reacts negatively - she cannot risk Devki's life like that. After much coercion, she agrees to talk to Devki about it.



Prerna goes to Prem's ward where Mukti, I mean, Devki is sitting. Prerna tells her the deal, but Devki remains silent. Prerna says that her silence has said everything - of course they should not do something like this. She turns to leave, when she hears Devki call her Choti Ma

Devki tells her that Birju Kaka told her everything about Mukti. Sure he did

Devki says that she will become Mukti for Prem, and relive that final moment. Prerna says that from now on, she must always called her Choti Ma...of course, what else will Mukti call her?
