What I don't understand is this....if Mahen or who ever planned this from the start, why couldn't thay have fixed Gauri's marriage with Shiv from the beginning?
Why go thru all that natak with Shashank??? As Shiv knew abt his father's intentions from the beginning, what stopped Mahen form suggesting Shiv's name instead of Shashank's.
also, if shiv knew why he was marrying Gauri, why did he try to get rid of her before the 'sagish' or whatever bore fruit. I don't undrestand!!

Mahen didnt suggest shiv because he knew wouldnt agree to gauri no matter wht as shiv doesnt really listen to mahen tht much.

Also i think he got involved or was forced to be involved in the plan 1 or 2 daes before the marriage took place as before tht he would have done something to make sure shashank married gauri
