OKK before sultan and sulbala fans start bashing me..hear me out
I came across many posts on Gautam Hegde's tweet...not calling sultan as the villianWhat i think is that RK is and will remain the hero..while sultan is and will remain the anti-hero. Now, my idea of an anti-hero is not the same as that of a villian. Rk and sultan are not simply white and black..but belong to the many shades of grey. Both have committed mistakes..afterall even the hero can't be perfect..there has to be some rationality to fiction also..So, in effect, what i mean is RK = HERO & SULTAN = ANTI-HERO and NOT VILLIAN..P.S. we can always give the villian tag to balraj, bhujang or dips :))(an attempt made to pacify the issues in the forum..cheers!!)

I admire your intentions (to pacify issues in the forum) but your labelling is wrong I'm afraid...
Definition of Antihero
an antihero (or antiheroine as the female) is a protagonist who has no heroic virtues or qualities (such as being morally good,[idealistic, courageous, noble, and possessing fortitude), blurring the line between hero and villain
So! As Sultan as been portrayed so far...he is DEFINITELY NOT the antihero. ALONE!!
RK too is an antihero!! Lolll
Perhaps we would do better to stop LABELLING? and also understand the difference between a LEAD and a HERO?
The LEAD character in any story is not NECESSARILY THE HERO TOO!
It is however an understandable assumption because Indian soap media advertise it that way and I think in indian soaps, uptil now the lead has always been the hero. But not any more.
