Nandini once told Meera that she and Alokha have to eat separately from the family as they are widows.
In the Asthana House, the men eat first (or at least until Baljraj gets up) while the women present stand and serve.
Now we can say, that Nandini and Alokha could also be allowed there as Balraj and the men are dining, but as far as I can recall this is the first time we see Aloka (or Nandini) with the other women while the men are eating. Till now, we hadn't seen it.
Umm, just an observation. 😆
