Foreign hotties take the lead from Katrina Kaif as Bollywood is set to be become a multi-ethnic industry

Half-Kashmiri and half-Brit Katrina Kaif has started a trend of non-Indian born starlets launching their careers in Bollywood
The Katrina Kaif effect is working overtime in Bollywood, it seems. With hot Kat having scaled the heights, more and more producers are now searching for the foreign whiff to turn on the oomph on screen.
Half-Kashmiri and half-Brit Katrina may still have an Indian connect despite her English upbringing, but many of the new girls set to be launched over the next few months are quite good and talented.
Bollywood is set to become a multi-ethnic turf with girls from Russia, Morocco, Germany and Australia gearing up for a Hindi film debut.
This is the second wave of the Katrina effect, apparently. Over the past few years, we have witnessed the no-shows of British actress Amy Jackson, Brazilian model Giselli Monterio, Mexican hottie Barbara Mori and half-Pakistani, half-Czech Nargis Fakhri in Bollywood.
Will the new lot of foreign beauties succeed? Time will tell.
Naura (left) makes her debut in 'Rock in Love'
Who's that girl: Naura is from Morocco and a crazy fan of Bollywood. At the audition of Rock In Love, she rattled off all her dialogues in Hindi in one go, impressing director Deepak Tijori instantly.
The Role: Naura plays a traditional Bollywood heroine in the film, a musical love story
Evelyn Sharma (right) was recently seen in Nautanki Saala
Who's that girl: Evelyn made a forgettable debut last year with From Sydney With Love but has impressed most with her role in this week's Nautanki Saala!
She also has a cameo in the Ranbir Kapoor-Deepika Padukone starrer Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani. Born to an Indian father and a German mother, she is a familiar face in the modelling circuit and also features in the band Euphoria's upcoming music video.
The Role: In Nautanki Saala! Evelyn plays a modern girl enacting the character of Sita on stage.
Elli Avram (left)makes her debut in 'Mickey Virus'
Who's that girl: Elli is the daughter of veteran Swedish actress, Maria Granlund. She is a Swedish actress and model. To make a foray in Bollywood, she learnt several forms of dancing, including Bollywood dance.
The Role: Elli's role in Mickey Virus is being kept a secret because the film is a thriller. The film also marks the big screen debut of TV actor Manish Paul.
Kristina Akheeva (right) makes her debut in 'Yamla Pagladeewana 2'
Who's that girl: Kristina is a Russian but she later shifted to Australia where she started modelling. She has already been the face of a deodorant brand in India. Kristina says she got hooked to Bollywood after watching Hindi films.
The Role: She is cast as Sunny Deol's heroine in Yamla Pagla Deewana 2.
Tabrett Bethell makes her debut in 'Dhoom 3'
Who's that girl: Australian girl Tabrett is a familiar name in her country, having scored with her starring role of Cara on the TV show, Legend Of The Seeker. She has been a model since the age of 16 and has also done short films.
The Role: Tabrett is cast opposite Uday Chopra in the film. Her role is to add to the glam quotient.
