Dislike change in Dr. Marwah

I find this change in Dr. Marwah most unconvincing. 😡 He's been shown as mature and now for him to suddenly change his mind about his wife after 2 conversations with his daughter seems very childish of him. Poor Pavan Malhotra... having to do something so inane after being such a talented actor.

And i hate the fact that the same show which treated a woman with a past with great dignity and sensitivity (refer previous posts on this topic) is now showing her husband and child treating her as if she were some sort of villain. 😡

Ideally, a person's past should not affect the way they are perceived now, especially a past that was over 27-28 years ago. But yes sometimes a person's past relationshp can affect their present one or make the partner insecure, especially if they've kept it hidden from their current partner. But not like this, where one day you are ok with it and two weeks later you are not. Why can't they show that here is someone who is mature enough to handle the fact that his wife had loved someone else in the past?

Well i think bygones shud be bygones but the fact that's turning the good doctor's head is that the past is a living reality it's not dead n buried DM"S current association with Samay does put him in a difficult position in the society. But i think wat was unreal is the reaction he shud have been upset first n then forgiven her but then I guess the show is unpredictable so the twists will also be unpredictable.

I think, Dr Marwah being the broad minded person that he is, is trying to get around his daughter to accept the situation and her mother. He is being hurtful to his wife just to show the smart daughter, that he agrees with what she thinks of his wife hiding her past and it affecting both their lives. If he were to discuss this with his wife, am sure the daughter would have known, that he is putting up an act only for her benefit.

By isolating Divya, her emotions are true to form, though at the same time, knowing Dr Marwah's love for his wife, he must be dying a hundred deaths in treating her with scorn. But he knows that she is an all forgiving person, and she would understand his stand to resolve the issue.

Hey dsylvia thats what i was thinking yesterday too. i really hope that true. Vasu, i personally don't know anyone but i'm sure there are people like that, and in india too. also i hope it is not unreal that people can handle the past of their daughter-in-law and be ok with it. i hope it happens in real life too.

I think this was bound to happen. This change in nature sounds more realistic. We don't want this change, but am glad that the writers are showing Marwah's change in opinion.
