EDIT: SLB has given one of his biggest movie Devdas with Shahrukh and DevDas was in the top ten movies worldwide in the Times list...so there u go...nothing W*F even if the news is true...waise Devdas was one hell of a bakwaas movie😆

because bansalai has his biggest grosser from Devdas.

On top of that, SRK is the only actor who can bring DP and Kat together.

And no no NO! No Katrina! Enough! She will just ruin it, why not bring someone who is talented. Like what are these film maker thinking of when they have to cast?? Seriously :(( I wish it was made back then with Salman & Aishwarya!

Bajirao was a Marathi Warrior and on top of that upper caste Brahmin...Baji Rao was also know for his Hinduism...His life was not just about Mastani...

SRK looks more like a Pathan than a Brahmin...the only person i can think of right now is Hrithik Roshan...hopefully a young person or a newcomer does the role...because Baji Rao was a young ruler and he died young...

I just hope SLB don't turn this into Asoka kinda movie...he will land in soup...especially if he shows SRK wearing a Janhva...it has potential to be controversial

I don't know if this movie can be BO success though...since its main appeal will be to Western India/Maharashtra and there are already Marathi serials on baji Rao and they are brilliant..

I always thought that Salman & Rani were the initial choices for this movie. Idk, at least that's what I had heard at one point.

Well I'll take Shahrukh over Salman any day, everyday! :)

If this happens, finally a SRK movie that I'd look out for after a long time.

But since Deepika and Katrina were touted to be roped in, Ranbir would have been an apt choice. 😉 Cant spare the SRK-Kat horror once again. I'd personally like Deepika-Sonam with Ranbir though :P

Bajirao was around 40 when he died. This means that the character will be in his 20s and 30s for most of the film. Even accounting for a battle-worn features, SRK simply wouldn't look the age unless they digitally de-age him or something. 😆 And then of course there's the issue of him not looking anything like a Marathi warrior.

Kat being considered for Mastani? SLB has lost his marbles. 🤣
