"THUD!"

He fell on the floor.. How could this be true? How could she just have it? How could god play such a game with her life? He felt tears rolling down his cheeks.. He couldn't stop them... Wait! Did he hear it right? He looked up at her.. She too was in tears.

She knelt down in front of him and gathered him in a hug.. Even she couldn't believe it when she got the news for the first time.. But.. But that was the truth.. The bitter truth.. Life can really play games with you..

"Are you sure, Sharon? Maybe, maybe you just misunderstood or something.. This really can't happen to her!!" he said, still not believing what he heard..

She caressed his back trying to calm him down.. Her tears to didn't stop but she had to be strong to be there with Swayam.. To help him be strong.. She broke the hug and looked into his eyes..

"That is the truth, Swayam. This IS happening!!"

Fresh tears started forming in his eyes.. He hugged her back, this time tighter..

Same Time- The Singhania Residency

The bag clinging on her shoulder fell down as she stepped into their room.. She saw their pictures hanging on the wall.. Photos of their journey together.. Their first day in the college together, the proposal, their first date, some random pics and the day of their marriage.. All the memories were in front of her eyes.. She felt weak.. Her joints pained.. She walked in further and then collapsed.. She fell to the ground.

Tears didn't stop.. She couldn't stop them. Why always her? Why did all the bad in the world happen with her? What was her fault after all?? Only if she could get the answers for these questions..

She cried and cried.. What else could she do? Maybe crying a bit would reduce the pain she felt- in her heart.. But it didn't happen.. She just couldn't stop crying. The thought, the reality, the truth never went out of her head.. What would happen of her? Well, the answer was given today by the doctor.. Her end was written.. But, what would she say to him? Could she tell him? Should she tell him? Would she tell him?

"NO!! No, you can't Taani! You just can't tell him this.. He'll die of pain.. No! I won't tell him. I won't!"

She, after a lot of tries, stood up and went towards the bed.. She picked up a photo frame which has his picture in it from the side table.. "You will need to move on, Rey. *she caressed the picture* I never thought that I could give you so much pain.. *sniffs back a tear* You will need to move on, Rey!"
