Part 12.

Her eyes twinkled with a new emotion as she traced the "A" with her fingers on her mehendi adorned hands. She remembered how HE fed her , teased her , laughed with her and even ate with her. He looked so carefree so different than the ASR he was to the world. She wondered why he was like that? She let out a chuckle as she remembered how she had secretly told the mehendi artist to draw an A in her hand in such a way that no one else could figure it out other than herself. Why did she do it..? no answer! She dint know ..it felt good to have his HIS initial on HER hand ..and Khushi drifted to sleep with these thoughts!

The Next day

The entire morning and afternoon everyone was busy as there were only few days left for the wedding and preparations for the sangeet also were to be done which was to be held in two days.

In the evening everyone finally got time to relax as the workers had retired for the day.

Arnav and akash had arrived home.

So what plans for sangeet? Akash asked as he sat down next to payal.

Ohh.. there's going to be lots of dhamaka and performances.. NK said beaming with excitement

Really? Payal asked disappointed ..you guyzz are not even allowing me to see your practices and plans for the sangeet.

Jus then Arnav came and sat next to his di who was checking if the invitations had been sent to all the recipients.

Jiji ..i told you if you see the performances then what will you see in the sangeet? Your going to love it Khushi said in excitement.

Of course ill love it after all Khushi the great dancer is gonna perform..payal said giggling!

Absolutely lavanya said , she is the best dancer in college no one can beat her when it comes to dancing..she said and sat next to khushi ..

After me itz always you La ..khushi said proudly hugging her from sideways!

Now that's going to be an awesome sangeet then shyam said as he took a sip of his tea ..with Khushi and lavanya right saale saab?

Arnav was startled by the sudden question as he was already imagining the sangeet and khushi dancing ..yeahh he said !

Guyzz am there too..NK said standing up!

Yaa NK bhai we can see you ..he said chuckling!

Hey listen! Since all the young crowd is here lets do something!! NK said excitedly

Like what? Arnav asked raising his eyebrow

Lets have some fun .. and make the atmosphere a little romantic he said winking at akash.

Khushi jumped in excitement ..she was a die-hard romantic ..and romance spelled out to her was movies especially Salman Khan's movies!!!

Lets watch a nice romantic movie she said smiling!!

Yeah! That's a nice idea lavanya said joining in Khushi's excitement.

Wow !! I love romantic movies anjali said too..sharing the excitement ..ill get the theatre room ready she said and called out to hari prakash instructing him stuff!

Theatre room khushi and lavanya said in wonder!

Yeahh there's a theatre room on the left end shyam said getting up.

That's great but which movie do we watch? Nk said coming near them!

Arnav too..stood up and was going towards the stairs only to be stopped by anjali

Chote where are you going?

Di ..i just have a little work.

No way chote! You just came from office ..she said objecting..

But di.. he was cut off!

Saale saab its just a few hours ..shyam said trying to get him understand!

Bhai ..the Mehra project isn't too..important right now..there's plenty of time for it! Akash said as he was sure Arnav was very kken on it!

Nannav mere bhai..join us naa ..

C'mon ASR lavanya said joining them!

Come naa!!! Khushi said looking at him expectantly..she wanted him to come..she wanted him to have the little joys of life ..he was always working!

Everyone turned around to see Khushi..

And there Arnav's heart melted at the way she asked him ..she wants me to come ..he thought ..now how can you refuse her? a small voice said in his head!

Okay!!! He said trying to sound as casual as possible ..hiding the joy he felt!

And yet again everyone was surprised with his decision and they all knew why he agreed and smiled sheepishly!

They headed towards the theatre room discussing which movie to watch!!

It was a cosy room with a big screen and a few couches!!

Arnav pressed a button and a huge shelf of Dvds opened up..

That is soo..cool!!! Khushi said jumping up and down in excitement..

He just smiled at her antics..

Ill choose the movie she said moving towards the collection..

And ill arrange for snacks anjali said and called out to hari prakash..!!

Aahh!! This one she said catching her all-time favorite movie dvd in her hand her eyes twinkling with a mischeivious glint!

Khushi don't tell me its..payal was cut off by lavanya..of course jiji khushi will choose that only ..

Which? Akash,NK,shyam and arnav asked in unison!!

Hum Aapke Hai Kaun? Khushi said proudly waving the dvd !!!

Itz her favourite lavanya and payal said together!!

Im sure its that salman khan's movie Arnav thought!

Just then hari prakash came in and told khushi that her amma needed her!!

Guyzz 2 mins. Ill be back ..dont start without me..and khushi sped towards her amma!!

In the mean time ..everyone settled down on the couches ..with the snacks ..

Khushi came running..lets start!!

Okay! Nk said..pressing the play button.!

Khushi then realized that everyone was sitting with their partners ..Akash and payal had taken the first couch ,followed by lavanya and Nk and then there was di and shyam ..and there sat Arnav on the next one alone who was busy with his phone.

Hay devi maiyaa ..now what? Khushi tensed up a little ..

I cant disturb all the couples .. does that mean I have to sit with laad governor? Her eyes grew wide!!

I can sit on the couch after him..but then will it look bad ..that I dint want to sit next to him?

Its not that I don't want to sit ..its just uhmm.. I love to cuddle up and sit ..like I always do with jiji ..whenever we watch movies! And I always sing and dance too..she thought in her mind..she closed her eyes shut trying to think of something!!!!

i hope all of you have got ur answer about whoz initial is written on Khushi's hand!!😉
