'Asad, beta let Zoya keep it na', said Dilshaad, smiling inwardly at her 7 year old son and her best friend's 5 year old daughter who had been living with her ever since she was 2 after her mother died in an accident. They were too cute.
'Keep it, i dont want it anymore'
'You loser. Loser, loser, loser!'
'Shutup!'
'Phuppi, Asad is using bad words!'
'Liar!'
'You liar!'
Dilshaad shook her head, rolling her eyes. 10 years from now, she could bet they would be the same.

'Too bad, i found it. Finders keepers, sucker!'
'I need them, Zoya. Those are MY notes!'
'Like i said, finders keepers, losers weepers!'
'Ammi, look at this stupid woman. She stole my notes!'
'Phuppi, you know i have exams too. And this Akdu son of yours won't share, so I found it, they're mine now'
'Asad, beta let her have them na, you've already studied so much', Dilshaad said, trying to create peace in the house. They were in college but still acted like 5 year olds, she thought sighing.
'Whatever, keep them!'
'Hah! You lost, loser!'
'Dream on, woman'
'LOSER, LOSER, LOSER!'
'Bi**h!'
'Phuppi, look! Your son's using bad words!'
Dilshaad shook her head, rolling her eyes. Maybe they'l change after sometime. Hah. Who was she kidding? She could swear they'l be the same 10 years from now.

'Zoya! Enough! Give me back my keys, now!'
'No! I need to go shopping, and your driver isn't here. I'l need your car'
'But Zoya i have to go to the office! Give my car keys back!'
'I took them first, so I get to take the car!'
'Ammi, tell this bahu of yours she shouldn't be driving in this state!'
'Phuppi, tell your son its his fault i'm pregnant!'
'Uffho! Noones going anywhere. Both of you're staying in the house today!', Dilshaad said taking the car keys from Zoya, ignoring both Asad and Zoya's pouting faces.
'You're not going to the office, so technically I win in a way'
'You aren't going shopping either, so you lose too, honey!'
'I was going to shop for YOUR baby which will be arriving soon! So YOU lose!'
'Its YOUR baby too, so you lose too!
'Loser!'
'Whatever'
'Phuppi, look your son is annoying me!'
Dilshaad rolled her eyes looking at the two. She was so right all her life. These two would never change. She could bet for another 10 years or maybe 20 or maybe 30 more years, but she chose not to. Like it would make any difference anyway, she sighed smiling inwardly.
This was her family. Her son, her daughter-in-law who was expecting her first child. She was going to be a grandmother soon. She never knew her son would fall in love with her bestfriend's daughter and she with her son. She still remembered the day Asad had announced they wanted to get married. Only she knew how shocked she was. But happy. Really very happy!
Zainab, her best friend and Zoya's mother must be so happy looking at them from the heavens above, she thought. Allah Miyaan couldn't have made a better pair. Smiling, she sent a prayer towards the heaven,
'Always keep them like this, Allah Miyaan! Always! Happy and together forever!'
