benglaru?? ridiculous

hey guys ive never been to india but i am wondering why they always change the name of the cities. that completley wipes out the historical and cultural value of that city!! like the biggest one ihateeee is bombay to mumbai. i never understood why they would do that. then i htink theyy changed calcutta to kolacata or sumthing and now bangalore! wuts going on??? its ridiculous.

I totally agree! They want to make it more "Indian". The name doesn't make the city Indian, the ppl do.

even though i dont come from india i come from Bangladesh

i think the names should not be changed, i for one still call mumbai bombay. and culcatta not KOLcutta
