He is definitely watching her.. So I for one am definitely looking forward to his confrontation with Guman about this..

I wonder how much Saras has an inkling of the marriage that was supposed to have happened between LN and Dugba. It can go either way-- I feel like he might know it implicitly to a certain degree, especially now that he is older and has spent time with Dugba again and experienced both her love and resentment. But then again, maybe not.

there wont be any show down so soon ...saras does not speak so easily...but when he speaks its like a valcano welling out ...i think he will somehow take kumud and her family side without confronting Guman...and things will get delayed and delayed ...till there will be a final confrontation where saras will end it all here ties to her family and everything

People forget saras is an MBA from harvard, he is no village bumpkin who will trust step mom blindly not after how she treated him from childhood.

But Saras is not aggressive and manipulative and misbehaving types. He is a gentleman and good person. So even if step mom ill treat him still he will not complaint against her and he will respect her as a mother same goes for his father or dukhbaa or VC or Guniyal. He is not one who will argue his point and in his favour. He will be silent if anyone blames him especially elders even if its not his fault.

Same goes for Kumud how many times she insult him but he gets angry but never retaliates ever. He takes it emotionally to heart without justifying or defending himself. But saras knows Gumans nature very well. He will not retailate till it becomes very extreme. Do not forget Guman is his dad's wife he cannot cross certain limits with her without breaking his mom saraswati's oaths of being with his dad no matter what? If Saras shows Guman her place, LNV will be offended and his relation with his dad is not good already. He has to think of his dad before he can confront or do anything against Guman.

Step children and step mom relations are pretty complex. With your own mom and dad you can agrue, fight, get angry, shout but relation stays. Saras also gets angry with his father and argues etc that is because he knows no matter what he does his dad will forgive him and love him and vice versa. But you cannot behave same way with a step mom, relationship will break for life and family will break.

Look at VC, Dukhba, Guniyal, etc they shout as and when they want at saras and then love him when they want and saras never takes to heart. Because VC, Guniyal, Dukhba are like his mom-dad not really his mom-dad. There is always a huge emotional attachment and trust with own parents no matter what the fights, agruments etc. You know your mom-dad, siblings love you to death no matter how much you fight etc not same with other relationships. Guman is another relationship for Saras not a close mom-dad, sibling with whom he can argue, fight, disagree etc and still realtionship stays hunky dory
