So after today's episode I feel like Saras must have noticed his evil stepmom's blatant problem-creating actions. Right? He was angry at her for arranging the function despite her knowing he rejected the marriage and gave her a look after VC found out with Guman standing like the chudail she is behind him. I really hope he confronts her in the upcoming episodes. He can't let that go!

Saras obviously remembers how Guman treated him as a child (flashbacks) but is polite to her regardless because of his values and upbringing. I just hope he doesn't end up brushing this aside because it is very obvious that she created a problem after Saras explicitly told her he was going to handle this situation and that she shouldn't interfere.

Anyone else really want a Saras-Guman showdown? I just don't want Saras to be another passive character that remains quiet in front of Guman.

And on a slightly unrelated note, can Dugba just slap Guman at some point? Cuz that would be great.

I feel Saras knew all along. He's the one who spent most time with her since he was a kid. He knows she has no affection for him. He also rejected her choice of tux at the very first episode and said he only lived there because of his promise to his mother. So I feel he was already in on her character and bore it politely because it was all against him. That is who he is. He will probably push it to the limit with being a good step-son but there is a chance he will lose it when Guman takes VC's house. Because he can take it when it is against him but he can't take it when it is against Kumud 😳.

i think saras knows how evil she is, he is a shrewd businessman, he can see whats happening behind the curtain, that is why he took the gur from gumaan first so that she does not create any tamasha in front of everyone, he does not want to confront her because there is no point of doing so, she will cover it up with some other story..i don't want saras to get into any of that mess, but i want him to support kumud and her family in his own way..saras che style!

Saras never saw a ''mother'' in her..Its not because he had attachment issues after his mother's death.. He was barely a child.. he got to love Dukhba and started calling her mai because she showered him with love.. He would have with time accepted Guman too as his mother , had she given him the love and affection that is expected of a mother.. Instead she shunned him all the time..Saras knows what kind of a woman she is..He has grown up watching her.. But he is unaware of her hatred towards VC and Dukhba.. he doesnt know she has a hidden motive of destroying the Desai's ... First she lands in their house and accuses them of getting Saras arrested.. then she gets bitchy with Kumud.. she goes on to convince VC to arrange a party knowing that Saras has rejected Kumud and now she broke the news to VC despite of Saras telling her to stay out of it... He is definitely watching her.. So I for one am definitely looking forward to his confrontation with Guman about this..

I doubt that we'll see that level of "showdown" between Saras and Guman. At least not as intense as Guman and Dugba. Saras' personality is too meek and passive for him to lash out like that. The only time we've seen him in a rage was with Kumud in the field. Having said that, I believe that we will see a transformation where he will stand up for the Desais. Best offense is a good defense and I think that's exactly what Saras will be for Kumud and her family.

Agree the level of showdown between Saras and Guman wont be that much intense or fiery as Guman and Dugba is...like u said, he will use his own way to beat Guman..and that track is coming up anyways..👍🏼

Exactly. Part of what makes this show so great is that it goes beyond the old formula of leaving characters in the dark about the intentions/harmful natures of the antagonists. Saras definitely knows what's up and I know he'll reach a point where he defends/fights back for those whom he cares about. I'm intrigued to see just how he fights back.

Very true, as you both said, it just wouldn't suit his personality to get into petty Q&A sessions with Guman about why she is hell bent on hurting the Desais. That strong defensive transformation is exactly what I'm waiting for and I have complete faith in it being in "Saras che style" :)

It's so refreshing to see a show with a strong male protagonist and Saras's character is so interesting.

I agree, very different for a male character on telly. He is strong but not in your face-annoying type or even "chocolatey" lol I just love him!
