The three new entrants, Sandeep Batra, Monica Gadgil and amp; Ravi Triparthi performed well at the last Gala episode, but they weren't excellent. I personally thought that, these contestants had a head start.
However, thanks to the exceptional training tips bestowed upon the old contestants by the faculty, one could clearly differentiate the Boys (new entrants) from the Men (old contestants). If anyone could give a tough fight to the old contestants then it is the Delhi's talented Sandeep Batra. Meanwhile, mutiny brewed as the new entrants entered the Gurukul. Shamit Tyagi, one of the top 5 contestants, particularly was vocal - he thought it was unfair and unnerving to see the new entrants start the race at the halfway mark. While, the old contestants had to go through the grind for many weeks.
Meanwhile, I was overwhelmed with to see Mona Bhatt, Kirti Sagathia and my favourite Rex D'souza back on to the show. Rex is the only one, who has the right combination of talent and the X factor.
People in Mumbai are very snobbish and do not give stars too much attention. Well, contrary to my belief when the contestants stepped out for the first time to perform at a plush mall in city, the crowd went ballistic cheering for them and egging on their personal favourites.
Viewers were struggling for a glimpse and autographs of their favourite Fame Gurukul contestant. Qazi fans, especially the girls, would squeal with delight the moment Qazi flicked his long, lustrous hair.
